Chapter 16:Welcome.

Paris POV.

After that incident that happened between me and Rodriguez,I've been trying avoid him but it pretty hard if you live in the same house.

How can he just suddenly ask me out,if we just recently agreed to be friends. I don't understand what I feel for him. But it better to cage that feeling. I know he has so much effect on me but I have to control myself.
There's no way we'll be together. For one he's a player, second after this wedding.....we'll be done with each other. I've been given a job to do, I can't just easily fall and get hurt later on when we're done with the contract.

It five days to go now. So I invited my parents to come over, Rodriguez got an apartment for them next to ours. So I won't see him much after my parents are here cause I'll be staying with them till the wedding, I guess avoiding him will be easier.

" Hello?" I heard a familiar voice, I was in the kitchen cooking my mums favorite.

" welcome mi familia " Nana spoke.

Wait! They're there!!!

I rushed out of the kitchen.

There stood my mama,papa and Milo.

" Hey guys!" I ran to give them a hug.

"Mama" I hugged her.

" papa" I hugged him.

"Milo" I was about hugging him when he held a hand to my face and stopped me.

" so it true?! You're getting married?!" He asked.

I nodded, I knew he was the first I would have told but he was busy all those times I tried calling him.

" what happened? Did this guy force you to marry him or what?" Just then Rodriguez came down stairs. He pointed at him when he said that." Cause the last time I remember The Paris Emilio I know doesn't fall in love. When mum told me, I didn't believe but I had to see for myself." He said. He held my shoulders" what happened just tell me. I can help." He left me speechless,from the out burst.

" Please.....don't make a scene" I begged. " I'm sorry everyone. " I face Nana,Papi and Lance.

Milo thank Goodness he kept quiet.

" Mum,dad this is Nana, Rodriguez Grandma." I started the introduction.

" Nice to meet you Nana?" My mum wanted to give her hand shake but she got a hug instead.

" Welcome, but call me Coco."

" Nice to meet you Coco" my dad shook Nana's hand.

" This is Papi,His grandpa." I continued.

" Call me Romero. Welcome to the family." He shook their hands.

" and you guys have met before" I pointed at Rodriguez.

" Welcome to my home" Rodriguez smiled at them.

After that there was an awkward silence.

" So dinner anyone?" I broke it.

" Yes please I'm starving" Papi as usual always the first.

Everyone made their way to the dining.

" we need to talk" Milo drew me back.

" later Milo. " I told him.

After dinner it was time for my family to head on out to their apartment next door.
I had prepared to sleep at my parents apartment till the wedding. So I had packed my bags.

" Thanks for dinner." My mum and dad said before heading out. Milo just stood up and left without saying goodbye.

" No need to be so formal,we'll be family soon." Nana said giving my mum a hug.
