After 7th hour Caleb walked with me to my locker. He looked at me. Waiting, almost like he was anxious to get in the car.
"Hurry up slug bug."
Slug bug? I chuckled at his silly comment.
He grabbed most of my books in my locker and shoved them in my bag. As he slung my bag over his shoulders we walked out of the back entrance.
We walked towards a silver car which I'm guessing is his.
"Get in." He said in a harsh tone.
I sat in the passenger seat. I had this strange feeling in my stomach. Like, I can't trust him. But what can't I trust him about?
He pulled out of the school parking lot and drove away. It was silent. A very awkward state to be in.
I was so glad Caleb finally decided to turn the knob on his little radio. The music filled my ears with joy.
I looked at him and smiled. I guess you could say we have something in common.
"You like lana del rey?" I asked as her beautiful voice sang in the background.
"Yeah.."
"That's so cool, I do too." I replied.
We started talking about lana. What her music means. How meaningful it is.
I noticed we were still in the car. My house isn't this far away from school. I rolled down my window and felt the warm air breeze brush against my face.
We were going on a trail with mountains. They were huge and rocky.
The landscape was beautiful. The sunlight was gleaming against my eyes. The lake we were passing was settle and calm. I saw a bird fly over us.
I finally came back to reality. Where are we? Where is he taking us?
Fear starts to creep up on me. I have no idea what he's doing, but I need to get out.
"Where are we?" I say
My voice sounded shaky. I didn't realize it till I spoke to him. All I got in response was silence.
"Caleb!" I yelled.
He didn't even look at me. I decided the best thing to do is text Chloe. She can come pick me up.
I took out my phone and swiped through my contacts. I felt a grip on my phone.
Caleb took my phone out of my hands. I saw him slide my phone into his pocket.
I hate him. Caleb is so mean.
"Stop the car." I yelled
"CALEB STOP THE CAR!" The car never came to a complete stop. It kept going. And he kept ignoring me.
I started having a panic attack. I knew for a fact that I would rather get hurt or possibly killed instead of staying in this car with him.
My hand clutched on to the handle of the door. It swung open and I felt the car jerk.
"Are you fucking crazy?!" He said.
I realized the car was stopped. Maybe he's right.
I might just be half mad.
