A/N I just started watching My Hero Academia, my life has forever changed.  y_Cold123

Jughead looked around, making sure he wasn't being followed.  Even though he had rode his motorcycle two towns over for this, he was still on edge.  He had a reputation to uphold in his hometown and couldn't risk anyone seeing him.

He may be decked out in deku cosplay, but maybe someone would notice him.  He pushed his anxious thoughts away and proceeded to walk into the convention.  He had spent months trying to perfect his costume and this was his time to enjoy it.

He walked into the convention and felt safe.  There were so many people there who liked the same things as him.  He wasn't seen as "weird" here, or "unnatural."  No one told him anything bad about it, some even complimented his costume.  It felt weird to be in a place where no one judged him.  He could be his regular, anime loving self.

He looked around the convention center to find cosplayers of all kind.  Doing all different anime's.  RWBY, Fire Emblem, Kakegurui, and even One Piece!  It was all surreal.  All the different cosplays and anime fans.  It was amazing.

Out of no where he felt a body collide with his back.  He stumbled a bit and turned around.  He was greeted with a blonde cosplayer.  He chuckled to himself a little when he noticed that the person was cosplaying Himiko Toga, an acquaintance of the character he was cosplaying.

As he looked at the girl he realized she looked familiar.  He couldn't quite pinpoint where he knew her from, but he had a small feeling he knew her.

He shook out of his trance and held out his hand to the person.  The girl gladly took it.  He pulled her up.

"Sorry for that."  He apologized.

The girl chuckled, "No it's fine.  First time?"

Jughead nodded, "Yeah, that obvious?"

"Only if you know how the first timers usually look."

"So, what's you're name?"

The girl chuckled nervously, "Toga, obviously."

He smiled, knowing she probably didn't want to tell anyone.  He knew exactly how she felt.  It was how he was feeling in this very moment.

"Sorry," the girl apologized, "I'm just kind of paranoid that someone from my home town will find out."

"Wow, someone else who is scared of that." He joked.

She smiled at him.

"I'm Midoriya, nice to meet you."  He reached out his hand.

She took it and said, "Wanna go to the MHA panel?"

"Yeah, sure."

They walked off to the panel.

*Time skip/after the convention bc i'm lazy rn*

A lot of people were starting to trickle out of the convention.  It was coming to a close.  Jughead had spent the whole time with the girl dressed as Toga.  While neither of them knew each others home town or name(they were both fine with it), they had learned a lot about each other.

He had learned that she had troubles with her mom back in her hometown.  She told him about how her friends weren't very happy when they found out she liked anime.  He would think it was weird if that wasn't pretty much exactly what had happened to him.  She talked about how she promised her friends that she would leave the anime, but just couldn't do it.

It was weird.  Jughead was never the social type, but here he was, telling secrets to a girl he met at a convention.  Even though they had only known each other for a few hours, he felt like he could tell her anything.

He was about to hop on his bike when the girl stopped him.

"Hey, do you wanna walk around a bit before you go?"  She nervously asked.

"Of course."  He said.

There was a park next to the convention center so they just ended up walking around there.  They kept talking. Completely amazed with each other.  They didn't even know each others names.  He liked it though.  He liked the anonymity, while also telling each other practically everything.

He was still thinking about the thing from earlier.  He could swear that he has seen her somewhere, but he still didn't know.  He had seen her give him a strange look too, maybe she thought she knew him too.  Her giving him that look only made him more suspicious.

At first he thought that maybe she just had one of those faces.  But as they were together longer the thought wouldn't get out of his head.

"So, what's your hometown like?"  She asked him.

"It's...different than other towns.  It's kind of small, like, everybody knows everybody kind of small."  He answered.

Murder capitol of the world too, he thought.

He pushed the thought back and continued the conversation.

"It's pretty lame, what about yours?"

She thought for a moment, "it's like yours.  We all know each other and it is rather different from other towns."

Jughead nodded to her and looked back at the ground.

He felt the wind getting cooler and he had noticed the dark clouds that were above their heads.  It was probably going to rain soon, but he didn't want to leave.  He wanted to stay there with the girl forever, never leave.  But alas, he had to get going, he had told his father he would be home an hour from now, it took about 45 mins to get back to Riverdale.

As if some god was granting his wish, it started raining.  The girl laughed in shock and grabbed his hand, she dragged him to a nearby bus bench(idk wtf they're called).  She laughed the whole way until eventually he started laughing with her.

Once we got there we stopped laughing.

"Why were you laughing?"  He asked.

The girl smiled, "I was just thinking of ways i could stay here longer."

"I was too."

They both smiled while they were looking down at the ground.

They looked up to each other.  When they made eye contact they both had confused faces.  At pretty much the same time they looked back down to the ground and felt their faces for something.  They had both expected to have something on their face from the way the other looked at them.

They then realized there was nothing there and looked back up.  The girl was the first one to recognize his face.

"Jughead?!"  She exclaimed.

Jughead looked to the girl and realized why he thought he knew her.

"Betty?!"  He yelled.
