After Toni gathered her bearings once more she walked out of the library, making a beeline to her dorm, expecting her room to back by then, although surprisingly she wasn't, something that made Toni relax a bit, she had a feeling that her roommate was going to be a little more than she expected.
She closed her dorm room and dropped on the bed, her chest dropping as she exhaled deeply, a knock sounded on the door not long after, bringing her green eyes to it with a glare, "Who is it?" she called out, not really feeling like getting up from her bed, even though she knew that she needed because she needed to pack her things.
No verbal reply came from the door, only another knock forcing the young Belgrave to force her body up from her grave and shuffle to door, prying it open with a nasty glare on her face, she was ready to chew the face of whoever was annoying her.
Unsurprisingly there was nobody there, just probably a prankster knocking on doors and then running away, "Jeez who pissed on your bed?" a girl questioned, bringing Toni's green eyes to them, it was a dark haired and tannish skinned girl, first year by the look of her youthful self, carrying a box that was marked BED.
"Just a prankster knocking on my door and then running away." she told the girl, a short warning for her to beware, something the girl understood, "Lilith Bathory." the girl introduced, "Toni." the ginger replied, not offering her surname. "I'm your new front door neighbour apparently." Lilith joked, making Toni nod slightly, "And you don't seem too happy about it." Toni sighed, knowing fully well that she was coming off as rude to the girl but in her defense she just wanted to smother the idiot who was knocking on her door.
"First day away from home." she countered, forcing a shy smile onto her lips, a smile that she had mastered over the years, a smile that did it's work in tricking Lilith into believing her words, "Oh! Same, although summer camp does also counts as away from home." Lilith told her, an honest smile on her lips. "I've never been to a summer camp." Toni confessed, silently cursing her overbearing and overprotective mother for having deprived her of certain things growing up.
"Well, it's cool until you meet one person you want to drown in the lake." Lilith commented, an honest laugh tumbled from Toni's lips as she shook her head "That's oddly specific." Lilith shrugged and looked down at her box, a look of grimace taking over her features "I need to unpack and make my room presentable, mom's coming over later to say her final goodbyes."
Toni nodded at her, knowing fully well that her own mother would check in on her later as well, see who her dormmate is, making it public knowledge that Toni was her daughter. "My mother too and since I live close by she doesn't understand why I don't just stay at home." Toni replied shortly before the two bid their goodbyes, Lilith walking into her dorm and Toni closing her door.
Her boxes occupied a large part of her space making her wish in that moment that she hadn't left her house, but she sucked it up and forced herself to walk towards the wretched boxes.
