Addison had gotten home from tour, immediately plopping down onto her bed. She was exhausted from long flights and endless nights out. Before immediately conking out in her bed she texted her brother. It's been a while since she'd seen him and wanted to spend some time alone before the chaos of holidays. Within twenty minutes, Mike had arrived with two bags of Chick-fil-a.

"You're the best big brother ever!" she hugged him.

"How was tour little Sheffer?" Mike sat down, unwrapping his sandwich.

"It was so much fun. Scott and Toddy treated me so well and sometimes I think they performed better than me." she chuckled.

They kept eating when her phone vibrated, a text from her group chat with Carly and Natalie appeared on her lock screen. The two girls wanted to hang out, but she quickly gave them a sorry no, and returned to hanging out with Mike.

"How are you and David?" Mike sipped his soda.

"We're really good Mikey. Honestly, I haven't been this happy in a while." she couldn't help but feel her cheeks get red at the mention of the boys name.

"I'm happy for you. He seems totally in love with you, he talks about you non stop," Mike laughed and rolled his eyes, "At first, I gave him a lot of shit for admitting feelings for you. I just wanted to protect you, but then I remembered he really is the sweetest guy."

"I'm happy you accept us. It must be weird for one of your best friends to be dating your little sister."

"Oh it totally is, but I want you both to be happy."

"Me too."

Meanwhile, the Dobrik boy sat alone in his house, waiting for Addy to come over. At around 8:30 pm she walked in the front door and ran to him.

"Baby!" she jumped onto his lap.

"Hi my love!" he left tiny kisses all over her neck and face.

"I really missed you. Even though it was less than a month." she spoke while rubbing his cheek.

"That's the longest we've ever been apart. It's weird for us." he laughed and pulled out his phone to record them together.

"How was tour first tour?" David squeezed her sides as she rolled off his lap and laid down on the couch.

"Honestly, it was amazing! I loved meeting everyone band being able to perform with the boys was a dream."

"I'm happy you had fun. I'm so proud of you." as he leaned in to kiss her again his phone started to ring.

He quickly looked at it and declined the call, putting his phone face down.

"Who was that?" she reached for his phone.

"It's nobody, don't worry about it." he put the phone into his pocket.

"Okay?" she felt a bit off and quickly got up and went to the bathroom.

She could almost swear she saw Lizas name when he declined it. But why would he be so weird about her, Addison was friends with Liza. She was okay with the two of them still being friends. Why was David hiding her?

Addison carefully stepped out of the bathroom when she heard him on a call.

"Liza, what happened last night was wrong. You shouldn't have come over, and you shouldn't have done what you did. I can't lose Addison over some stupid mistake you made. Goodbye."

Addison felt her face get hot and her heart beat out of her chest. She composed herself slightly and went back to the couch, sitting away from him.

"You okay Addison? Your face is pale." he tried scooting closer to her.

"I think I'm just jet lagged." she lied and looked at the tv.

"Come here." he laid down next to her, playing with her hair.

She ended up falling asleep quickly, not wanting to think about the conversation she had overheard.
