Chapter Ten

“Well fuck” I muttered under my breath as I saw the scoreboard and read the final score. 4-1.

“It sure is gonna be a fun night Riley!” Shaw shouted as he headed towards the locker room

I nervously giggled and made eye contact with Brandon

“You okay? I can talk the guys out of it if you want” He said with a concerned look on his face

“Will you come with me?” I pleaded

“Of course Riles” He said with a grin on his face “We’ll make it a fun night”

His warm smile reassured me and I followed the last player back towards the locker room. I gathered my stuff and went to say goodbye to Tyler but was stopped along the way.

“So you ready little munchkin? Tazer said with another evil grin

“Tazer you need to stop with the evil grin shit. Its starting to freak me out”

“Don’t change the subject”

“Well I need to go home and change first, I’m not gonna go to the bars in my sweatpants and sweater” I said rolling my eyes

“Ok well let me take you home”

“I drove here”

“Ok let me follow you home then”

“Jesus you’re persistant. Anyway I was gonna see if Brandon wanted to come with…” I said scanning the room looking for him

“He’ll meet us at the bars with the other guys”

“Okay… why do you want come with me so bad anyway?” I said struggling to pull my duffle bag over my shoulder

“Cause we need to make you look hot. Follow me” He said grabbing my bag and slinging it over his shoulder.

I huffed in surprise and followed him towards the parking lot. He followed me all the way home and I slammed my door as he got out. My phone vibrated and I saw the caller ID, it was Brandon.

“Hey, where are you?” He asked as I heard a couple muffled shouts in the background

“I went home to change real quick, Tazer said that you’d meet us at the bar” I said opening my front door to the apartment

“Oh ok you just took off I didn’t know where you went”

“Ask her if she’s ready to get trashed!” I heard Kane scream

I groaned at the idea of my lost bet

“Well I guess you heard that, See you soon Riles”

“See ya Brandon”

I hung up and let Tazer into my apartment.
