12. What If...

Ten sat alone in the room he stayed in, completely blanked out until he heard the door open.

Kun had entered the room and sat down next to him, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"It's in a few days. Are you ready?" Kun said in a soft mother-like tone.

Ten looked at Kun with a unreadable face.

"What if..." Ten paused. "I'm not ready?" He continues, staring down at his hands.

"You don't have to do it, you know. I can always get someone else and you could send you home now." Kun says with a soft smile on his face.

"I'll...think about it." Ten replies, returning the smile.

Kun gets up and heads towards the door, leaving Ten alone again.

Kun makes his way into the garden, sitting on one of the pure white benches. He lets out a heavy sigh and buries his face into the palm of his hands.

"What happened? Didn't you say that he was the last hope? The only one who could save us?" Donghyuck says, popping out of nowhere.

Kun turns around and looks at Donghyuck with a sadden smile.

"I can't force him into doing something he doesn't wanna do, Hyuck." Kun said.

"What about Wonderland? What about our lives?" Donghyuck exclaims.

Kun sighs and gets up. Walking towards Donghyuck, he pulls the younger into a tight hug.

"I get it Hyuck, I know you want Wonderland back to normal. I get that you miss Mark. I get it." Kun mumbles into into Haechan's hair.

Donghyuck starts to cry into the olders shoulder. Kun following.

They stay in each others embrace until they hear a voice whisper.

"I've made up my mind." A face stained with tears, Ten walks up to the both of them, joining the hug.
