"I know you from the future"

Alex answered as we both stared at her, surprised and speechless. Joshua and I both looked at each other feeling anxious to ask. But before we could she said

"I'm just messing with you. You're the Volleyball teams new Co-captain, if I'm not mistaken. Andrei Manalo was it?"

"Uhh, yes I'm Andrei. How'd you know I was the Co-captain?"

I asked her, she then pointed at the Bulletin board on her left as she said

"A school Coach posted that earlier. We checked it out and asked who you were since you were just a benchwarmer last year."

"Oh.... is that so.."

I answered as the bell rang.

"Well we better get going then."

Joshua said as Alex asked

"Don't you want my number Andrei? I did offer it awhile ago."

Joshua stopped walking, as if feeling furious. He then walked rapidly to class as I told Alex

"Maybe next time. Sorry we really need to go now."

I chased after Joshua, he was already near the class at that point. He didn't even try to look back at me, he just went in class without saying anything. I entered the room before our Adviser came in, and sat beside Samantha.

"Is something wrong? You and Joshua kinda look off"

"I don't know. We saw Alex earlier, Joshua's wife in our past life. But she was not paying attention to him, she was exerting her attention on me."

I answered back, Samantha stared at me confused. The class then started as soon as our Adviser entered the room. We then had our break and soon as it started I approached Joshua and laid my hands on his shoulders as he turned away from me. Samanha was right beside me and I then said

"Dude, what's the matter? You're acting all weird"

"Says the guy who enjoyed my wife flirting with him."

He answered repulsively as he shoved my hand away from him. Samantha then said

"Are you guys going to be alright?"

I turned back at her, smiled and said

"Of course, we'll be ok don't worry."

Both our tummies rumbled loudly. We both stared at each other and smiled

"So, want to go grab a bite? There's this awesome burger at the canteen."

"Sure, drinks are on me then"

I nodded and then we proceeded to the Canteen. I told Samantha to go look for a table and I then bought the burgers. The Vendor Aunt Betty was close to me, I'm one of her favourite customers. As I approached she said

"Good morning Andrei. Will you be having the usual?"

"Yes Aunt Betty, and give me 2 of them today."

I answered. She looked at me and said

"Well, aren't you a very hungry fellow today."

I smiled, as I glanced at Samantha. She waived at me notifying that she's found a spot. As I stared at her, Aunt Betty said
