Honey. Honey. Honey. Honey. Honey. Honey. Honey. Honey-
Beomgyu groans as he shove his face inside his english textbook, his cheeks and ears were red and he felt his heart keeps on beating rapidly. Jeongin, his seatmate, noticed it and became worried immediately, "Hey, are you okay?" He asks in a whisper and Beomgyu quickly shot up and smile at him, nodding his head aggressively which is beyond fine.
"You're red, are you sick-"
"No!" He suddenly yells, the whole class grew quiet as they snap their hands towards him, even the teacher looks at them. Beomgyu felt embarrassed and he needed something to make this stop, "N-Nosebleed! Ah, I have nosebleed!" He says and grabbed his handkerchief, placing it over his 'bleeding' nose, he then went out of the room. Jeongin stood up and scratched his head in infusion.
"Was his nose bleeding?" The teacher asks and Jeongin was ofcourse incharge of it, he just chuckles and nodded at him, "Y-Yes, sir, I should go and follow him." He insisted and the teacher agreed, Jeongin run out of the room and looked around but there were no sign of the boy, he checked the infirmary yet Beomgyu wasn't there. "Where could he be?" He whispers to himself as he walks back to the class.
Beomgyu was running and running and running, he doesn't know where he should go and those words are making him go crazy. He then decided to stay inside the volleyball gymnasium, glad that it was open. Nobody is around either, he sighs and sat on the corner, hugging his knees as he sulk in confusion. "I hate this feeling, its making my heart fly."
Also, its their last subject anyways so it wouldn't hurt to just skip one class, besides, Jeongin is there to cover him up. After a while, the bell finally rung for dismissal. Beomgyu then heard voices and footsteps coming from the outside, "What? Maybe he went home." Jinyoung said, Jeongin grumbles as he was holding Beomgyu's bag.
"Where could he be?" Guanlin says as he thinks, the seniors are also on their way in here. Beomgyu peeked on the window and his heart skipped a beat when he saw Yeonjun- no, a worried Yeonjun. He sighs as he grips on the handkerchief in his hand, looking down feeling hopeless and confused. "Yeah, he might've gotten home- holy fuck."
Beomgyu shrieks in surpise seeing Jaemin to first enter followed by the others, everyone's eyes widened and looks like they're all worried. "Beomgyu?!" Mark says out loud, Beomgyu was still frozen as he was still seated on the cold floor. Yeonjun them barged in, he quickly looked at the small boy. "Beomgyu!" He yells and marched towards him.
"What the heck were you thinking? We're all worried about you!" He says and bent down as he grab the younger's cheeks, "Your nose bled? Jeongin said it did, where? Are you fine now? Answer me!" Yeonjun's voice was full of concern, Beomgyu looks at him as his eyes were getting teary but was unnoticed by the blonde boy infront of him. There it is again, that weird feeling in his heart.
The more he hear Yeonjun's voice the louder his heart beats and the more the butterflies in his stomach grew. "Hey! Are you okay? Tell me!" He couldn't talk, cat got his tongue, he just couldn't move either and his mind was filled with balloons of questions. "Beomgyu, answer-"
"Stop!" He whimpers and wrapped the handkerchief over Yeonjun's mouth, tying a knot from the back of his head to prevent him from talking. Beomgyu then rested his head on his shoulder, sobbing, "Please, don't talk." He begged with a shaking voice, their other teammates were concerned as well. Yeonjun was confused and worried at how he was acting, "Please don't talk, it's making me feel weird." He whispers.
Yeonjun's eyes widened, ofcourse, he knew what it meant but he's too dumb to even think about it. He placed a hand on Beomgyu's head and his other hand rubbing circles on the younger's back to calm him down and stop him from crying. Yeonjun kept quiet and listened to him cry, also, with the cloth covering his mouth its obvious that he couldn't talk.
"W-Well, how about I announce it now?" Sana says to change the awkward atmosphere, they all gathered in a circle but Beomgyu won't stand up so he and Yeonjun stayed right there. "We're having another practice match! Okay, so, we won't be practicing today since your coach is out for an early familh dinner."
"Alright, the school you'll be playing with is Gidunggisa Academy from the city of Seoul." Everyone then wore ana amazed expression, hearing about the city just makes them so happy and challenged knowing that there are more great players in the city. "Yes! I will crush their bones!" Guanlin screams and Jinyoung and Jisung agreed to him like always.
"As if you will." Haechan says and chuckles after, the three them glares at him and Jeongin had to get in between to keep them out of another commotion or argument. "So, its in next week too though the play will be on Saturday. And, there's no need to pack stuff, their school decided to just travel from there to here. The match will happen in our school, so, I want you guys to keep it clean before the match."
"Yes ma'am!"
"Great, now gather your stuffs and go home now, Yeonjun, do lock the door." She said and Yeonjun nodded, she then left and everyone began to talk about the Gidunggisa Academy, "I bet we're stronger!" Guanlin yells, he always starts the noise and as always, ended up arguing with everyone. "Oh please-" Mark quickly covered Haechan's mouth before he spills some shit.
Yeonjun on the other hand still have his mouth covered, he sighs and gasps when he saw Beomgyu was already sleeping in his arms. 'Dang, this kid does sleep a lot. Its rare to see him ran out of energy.' He thought and removed the cloth on his mouth, he sighs and examined how peaceful he sleeps. "Hey Yeonjun, he fell asleep, huh? Get him home and I'll just lock the door instead."
Yeonjun nodded and gave him the keys, he then carried Beomgyu in piggyback as he started to walk out of the gym and outside the campus. Both are now on their way home, "Yeonjun.." Beomgyu mutters and Yeonjun stopped walking, "Yeonjun." He repeats again, Yeonjun hums in response. Beomgyu flutters his eyes open, he tightens his arms around Yeonjun's neck, but not that tight that he'll actually choke him.
"Yeonjun." He calls out again, "Hm? What is it?" The older finally talks as he continued walking, Beomgyu felt his heart beat again just by hearing his voice. That soft and soothing voice of his, "Sorry." He suddenly blurted out, Yeonjun raised an eyebrow, "For what?"
"If I'm heavy." He lies, Yeonjun chuckles and shake his head, "Its fine, you're not that heavy like a pig, infact, you're heavier than a pig." Beomgyu then shots a glare at him as he smack his shoulder, Yeonjun groans and chuckles after, silence. It was quiet again. "Are you sure you're okay, though?" Beomgyu just nodded, pouting with a frown as he was lying. Lies, those goddamn lies he hates.
"Music?" Yeonjun said and gave him the other piec of his earphones, Beomgyu smiles and puts it in his ear. He doesn't know what the songis called but he listened anyways, it calms him down. Also, Yeonjun was humming to it which made him fall in love more- well, hopefully he knows he's inlove. Does he know?
