i haven't really read any fanfics of goodbye despair myself so i dont really know how i should go about this.. :thinking: lol

I arrived at my destination on a special school trip. 17 of us could come. I was one of them! I, Y/N L/N, Ultimate Plague Doctor, on a school trip with the other Ultimates at Hopes Peak Academy!

Oh, that's right. I should introduce my classmates who are with me on this trip.

To start off, there's Hajime. Hajime Hinata. He's quite an average guy.  Nothing about him really strikes me as too interesting. The most I can really say is that he hasn't got the worst looks. He's the one with brown hair and a green tie on his white shirt.

Then there's Nagito. Nagito Komaeda. I do quite like Nagito. He's cute and he makes me chuckle. We don't talk much in class but when we do it tends to be quite friendly. He's got that green hoodie on! And the white and pink hair. I love that hair.

There's Byakuya Togami. He's really bossy, but I believe he has good intentions. He stomps around everywhere and that really amuses me. He's the large and tall one with blonde hair.

Chiaki Nanami is the Ultimate Gamer. Now I think that's a really cool talent, and I've tried to talk to Chiaki about it before, but she seems way too absorbed in her games to notice my existence. Maybe I can become her friend during this trip. She's the one with her hood up which looks like a little face. Her pink eyes are staring right at her DS, obviously.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu makes me think of a toddler in an animated film I once watched. I will not ever say that to his face though. He might kill me. Other than that, he's pretty mean. Perhaps one to avoid. He's blonde with a cute baby face. Again, I could never tell him that.

Nekomaru Nidai makes me laugh. He shouts a lot at random times and it's really funny. I'm a little intimidated by his big and muscular appearance, but he seems nice enough. Along with being extremely muscular, he has dark hair and big furrowed eyebrows.

Oh, and there's Akane Owari! I nearly forgot her. She weirds me out, don't like her much. She eats a lot of meat at a really fast rate, it scared me actually. She's the big-breasted girl with the  red skirt and brown hair.

Sonia Nevermind... eugh... I really do not like Sonia. People tend to like her, probably because she's a princess or something, but damn! Is she annoying? She's so oblivious, and I hate that she's actually somewhat pretty. Why can't she look like the shit she is..?

Kazuichi Soda is right next to Sonia, of course. He obviously has a huge crush on her. It's a shame, I quite like Kazuichi but I cannot understand his taste in women. He has really neon pink hair and a shark grin. He's really cool.

Hiyoko Saionji is a tiny girl. When I first saw her, I did not expect her to be so cruel to creatures. She squishes ants with her fingers, you know! She's also quite mean and a tease. She's pretty cute though, I'm sure she does a good job of being the Ultimate Dancer. I'd like to try her croissant hair style one day.

Then there's Mahiru Koizumi, walking around and taking pictures of the wildlife. Of course. Mahiru can be a little rude sometimes but I think her intentions are good. She's also pretty fun, so that's cool! Her bold red hair is reflecting the sun and it's causing me to squint.

Peko Pekoyama has a really cute name. Despite that, she's pretty distant and cold. Gosh, her ultimate is Ultimate Swordswoman! You wouldn't expect that from a girl with such a cute name and nerdy look to her, would you?

Ibuki Mioda is one of my favourite people ever. She's super friendly and fun. Although, she can be a bit of an idiot sometimes... I guess she makes up for that in her cute looks! I hope me and her can become closer as friends during this trip.

Mikan Tsumiki annoys the heck out of me. She's really clumsy and she apologises way too much! And she cries a lot. Wow. But... I have to say... She's adorable.

Oh.. then there's Teruteru Hanamura. He's fantastic. He's Ultimate Cook (or Chef, as he prefers) and he makes great jokes. At least, I think they're jokes..? I hope they're jokes. Either way, he's awesome. I'm just a little shy around him but maybe I can get to know him a little...?

Almost done introducing everybody now and... oh! There's Gundham. He sure is mysterious. He doesn't really talk much but when he does, his voice is usually soft and deep. He has cool hair and wears a red contact. I've never ever seen him without his purple scarf. I haven't really spoken to him, but knowing his talent, Ultimate Breeder, I'm very interested to get to know him. Perhaps I....

"Hello class..!"

The high pitched yet soft voice of my teacher, Miss Usami, rang out across the beach. Chatter died down and everybody looked at her.

"Welcome to Dangan Island! I'm sure you're all excited to be here...! But there are some rules. This is a pretty big island, and I don't want anybody getting lost alone, so you must always travel in a pair. As long as you have a partner, you can explore the island and partake in activities all you like. After 10 at night and before 7 in the morning, you won't be allowed out of the hotel district. This is for your own safety and so that you don't get lost. You don't have to sleep during that time, but it is advised! Other than that... you're free! Love! Love! However, for now, I'd like everybody to choose a partner and explore a place with them." She finished with a meek bow to us, and the chatter roared back up immediately.

I looked around frantically, pairs coming together everywhere...! Fuyuhiko and Peko, of course, Kazuichi forcing Sonia to pair with him... Nekomaru and Akane... Ibuki and Mikan... Hajime and Nagito...!

Then I remembered that 17 is an odd number, meaning the last person would probably have to be in a pair with Miss Usami. Not an ideal position.

I panicked and started running around for a partner. I bumped into someone and fell over.

"I'm so sorry...!" I gasped. Eugh. I just sounded like Mikan.

I didn't get a response, but a pale hand was lowered in front of my eyes. I gently took hold of it and looked up to see it's owner. It was none other than Gundham. He helped me up and I nearly stumbled into him. I threw my hands onto his chest so that I didn't. Wow, was I making a fool of myself?
Gundham looked unfazed and just made a small chuckle.
"I guess this makes us partners?"
I made a small nod, too embarrassed to speak. I felt my face heating up and instinctively covered it up. I heard another chuckle from Gundham and looked back up at him. He was smiling, and that made me smile too.
I looked around. Poor Mahiru was the one to be stuck with Miss Usami, and although she didn't look particularly bothered, I shot her a sympathetic look, which she acknowledged with an awkward smile.
"Well then, everybody..! Let's get exploring! Feel free to take notes!"
I wasn't planning on taking notes. If I needed a brain refresher, I'm sure I could just visit the same place again.
I glanced at Gundham, wordlessly telling him I was ready to go.

With that, we were off...!
