i promise i haven't forgotten about this
i think about it every day but im unmotivated

Wow, okay. Gundham came willingly to my cabin. He is in my cabin and looking around. I am very glad I tidied up.
He looked over to my bed and I noticed his eyes locked onto my dog plush.
"I see, you have chosen your tribe, mortal. But has the tribe chosen you?"
His words startled me, I had not expected him to speak. Though, I'd no idea what he meant by that.
"What do you mean?"
"Were you chosen by the hounds of Hell's gates?"
"Uhm.... no..?"
He was probably asking if I had any pets. Truthfully, in my life I had only had a couple of fish and rodents. None of them were very significant to me, despite the fact that I love animals. However, I don't believe that's something I should mention to Gundham.

I walked over to my bed and sat on it, gently picking up the dog toy and holding it.
"I've had it since I was a baby. It brings me comfort when I'm away from home. Though I don't have a real dog myself."
I subconsciously petted the toy, and Gundham smiled. Oh, my heart fluttered when he smiled. His smile is lovely. I placed the toy to the side and gazed up at him.
"Well, what brings you here?" I asked, genuinely curious.
Gundham covered up his face with his scarf and hesitated for quite a while before answering.
"Well, you seemed upset to leave me when we were banished to our realms, so I decided to come around and put you out of that misery."
He let go of his scarf and the slightest hint of a blush tainted his cheeks.
So that's how it is, huh?
"I see... well, thank you..!" I smiled warmly at him.
"Is there anything in particular you want to do, then?"
"Maybe we could discuss our life stories. You can ask me any question you'd like. That should be a privilege!" Gundham nodded to himself.
Well, that sounded fine! I patted the bed beside myself.
"Sounds good to me! Come, sit."
Gundham stared at the bed for a moment before sitting where I had patted my hand. He seemed a little stiff, uncomfortable, even. I hope to make him feel a little more comfortable today...!
He was silent. I supposed he wanted me to ask first.
"What do you like to do in your free time, Gundham?"
Gundham hesitated before answering.
"I see, so you are interested in my lifestyle. I will reveal a small portion to you. I am interested in training, human hunting, crafting spell components, Et Cetera. I am rather a busybody. Though, most of the time, I manage a website."
"A website, huh? Care to tell me about that?"
"Sorcerers worldwide are just waiting to see my research results! Of course, my website has been magically enchanted so only a chosen few can view it. Lowly humans may only access a dummy site called 'Exciting Breeding Journal'."
"I would love to see the Exciting Breeding Journal myself!"
I hummed happily.
"Then, I shall make it my duty to share it with you, when we get back home."
He hushed for a moment, then snapped his gaze towards me.
"Any other questions?"
I thought for a moment. I'm not good at thinking of questions. I decided to go simple.
"What is your favourite food?"
"I am fond of the orange melon which bears the face of the devil,"
What now?
"There is no other food as high in nutrients nor as versatile to a variety of cooking methods. More importantly, however, it's seeds are a very good food source for my Four Dark Devas of Destruction. But first, you must carefully wash the seeds, try them in sunlight, peel off the thin skin then lightly fry them." He continued, before I could ask. I assumed he meant a pumpkin. But wow, he really cares for those Devas of his!
"That sounds like a lot of work!"
"If you do not put work into the things you do, there is barely a point in doing them."
I agree. Gundham speaks from the heart, and he has good ideas.
Then he asked me a question of his own.
"Your Ultimate talent, mortal. Ultimate Plague Doctor. How did you receive it?"
Hmm. That sure is a good question.
"I guess... I guess I studied medieval times a lot, and I found plague doctors incredibly interesting... so I kinda... Learnt their ways and.. well... here we are..!"
I chuckled awkwardly. In all honesty, I have no idea why I have this talent. I don't think I really count as a plague doctor even if I know all about them and occasionally dress as one.
Gundham was kind of just sitting there with a soft and adoring smile plastered onto his face while I listened to my own internal monologue. He seemed to like my "How I became an Ultimate" short story. How cute.
"I can even show you my plague doctor outfit, if you want!"
Gundham nodded eagerly, so I got up, grabbed the outfit and dashed into the bathroom. I changed quickly, to not keep my friend waiting, then walked out confidently.
Gundham's small smile grew wide as he saw me in my plague doctor suit. My guess would be that he quite liked it!
"You are like a raven of the night in that outfit. It is rather nice."
I'm glad I had a mask on, because I felt my face heat up at that comment, and I smiled. It was probably a goofy smile.
"Thank you, Gundham!"
I clapped happily, and went back over to sit with him on my bed again. He gently placed his hand on the 'beak' of my mask and stroked it. By this point, if that were anyone but Gundham, I would've felt extremely uncomfortable. But, I quite liked this. He stroked the mask for a while and we sat in silence like this.
Then, he gazed into the eyes of my mask, and I had to stop myself from squealing. I felt our arms brush together. We were very close right now. My heart was pounding. I gazed back, and, though I was sure he couldn't see my eyes, he blushed.
Then he stopped, and sat up stiffly like he was before.
Had I done something wrong?
"It's an intricate work of art, the mask. Don't you agree?" His voice sounded a little choked.
I nodded my agreement and took the mask off, tilting my head slightly in an expression of confusion.
Gundham didn't look at me.
"Well, mortal, it is time I should be off. Remember this time well, as it was your privilege."
He stood up stiffly and slowly walked out of my cabin, glancing back at me only once before picking up the pace.
He ended that quick. My head spun. What did I do wrong? Did my body language give something away? Did he decide he didn't like me? Did I smell bad?
I got a headache, so I went to the bathroom to change back to my regular clothes to take my mind off of it, then went back to bed and grabbed my dog plush.
I really hope he doesn't dislike me.

Before I knew it, I had drifted off into a light slumber.
