Luke's POV

I could hear sirens from so far down the street.
what was happening?
I decided to send a quick text to Brooke to see if she could hear it too,
"hey do you hear that? I wonder what's going on. do you know?"
SENT
I waited for a reply.

*10 minutes later*

no answer

*20 minutes later*

still no answer.

I was getting really concerned and scared again.

I had to find out what those sirens were about.
it sounded like they were coming from the East Bridge.

I hopped into my car and shouted "I'll be right back mom!"

I drove all the way to where the East Bridge was and I was right.

the sirens were coming from there.

I saw so many police and ambulance cars , something big must have happened.

a car crash maybe?

a fire?

I look around .
a lot of cops EVERYWHERE
I decided to try and ask someone what was going on, I went to the cop that was nearest to me.
"hey I'm sorry but what's going on what's happening, I could hear the sirens from my house"
the cop just replied with
"an accident happened and we are trying to get it under control it's none of your busine-"
before he could finish his sentence I noticed a car.

I looked just like Brooke's car.
it was Brooke's car.

then panic sets in.
this is bad.
this is really really bad.
I see a few cops by the river.
they look like they are carrying something out of it.
seconds later, they put something on a carrying thing they use for hospitals and then I noticed it wasn't just something.

it was a person.

I try to look closer when I see a few strands of brown hair.

it was Brooke.

full panic mode sets In at this point.

"THATS BROOKE NO I NEED TO SEE WHATS WRONG WITH HER"
I run over to where she was being carried.
"sir calm down calm down she is being sent to the hospital."

I couldn't settle down
no matter how hard I tried.
I couldn't
I wouldn't.

"NO STOP IM GOING WITH HER IM NOT LEAVING HER HERE WHAT HAPPENED"

the cop put his hand on my shoulder ,
"listen kid, we have a very bad situation we need to get under control right now so if you could please calm down or unless you are a family member or know a family member please inform them"

I was shaking so badly.
I quickly took out my phone and contacted my mom and Brooke's mom.

"Brooke is going to the hospital I don't know what happened but come as soon as possible"

I sent the text to both of them.

as the ambulance was backing out I got into my car.
I followed the ambulance all the way to the hospital.

I finally was able to meet my mom there and she brought Brooke's mom.
but Brooke's mom was completely terrified.
"THATS MY DAUGHTER!"
"WHAT HAPPENED"
there was so much shouting I couldn't stay sane.

they took Brooke's mom In a little room. I'm guessing to fill out some paper work.

but I was stuck sitting with my mom.

I just kept playing with my bracelets and tapping my foot. patiently waiting to see what happened.
