Chapter 18

**A few weeks Later**
Cassie's POV

Matt,Jake,Nicki and I had a free period and decided to hang at a park 10 minutes away.
"What should we do?" Jake said
"Hide and seek" Nicki said sarcastically.
"Yeah! I haven't played that in ages." Matt chirped in. We all looked at him with a confused look.
"Might aswell." Nick said
"I'm not counting" I said putting my hands up.
"Me neither"Jake said taking a pace back, followed by Matt. Nicki had to count. "I'm going to count to 20... 1...2.." Fast as I could I scanned the place for a good hiding spot and ran to a bush behind a bench.

Minutes went by and I still wasn't found until I heard footsteps running towards me. I peeked through the plants and saw Matt.
"Psssst. Behind the bushes" He spotted me and sat beside me.

"Hey" he spoke
"Hi, did she find you."
"No but she found Jake." He shuffled closer to me until our shoulders touched.I turned to face him but he was already staring at me.
"Do you ever want to do something crazy but afraid of it backfiring?"
"Like what?"
"This." He took a strand of my hair that was hanging out of place and tucked it behind my ear. I gazed into his eyes ad leaned forward.He kissed me.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" he was cut off by me kissing him back again.
"It's okay." I said blushing.

"Oooohhh la la!" A voice said. I jumped a bit and turned around to see Nicki and Jake. Great.
"Swerving into his lane are we?" Nicki teased.
"Looking into someone's buisness are we?" Matt said with a grin.

"So, are you dating yet?" Jake asked, we looked at eachother muddled as to what happened.
"Will you be my girlfriend Cassie?" Matt questioned hoping I'd say yes, obviously I did.

Matt and I decided not to tell anyone yet, but he did allow me to tell Jayda so we facetimed and I told her the news.She was really happy for me. After I took a shower and washed my hair and went on Twitter for a while.

Cam came through the door and handed me a slippery of paper, it read:

Cassie Dallas,
San-Francisco 1st December
Flight: 2:30pm
Seat: 24

"What's this?" I asked

"Flight tickets to magcon."

"Awesome!"

"We're leaving on Monday so you should plan what you're going to bring."

That was in 2 days time

"So I get to miss school?"

"Yep, for a whole week."
