Chapter 31

*** 4 Years later**

I woke up next to Matt, naked.
The memories from last night ran through my brain, I face palmed myself and sighed.

I reached for my phone and checked the time 11:37 am. Matt has a meeting at twelve, I turned over and gently shook his shoulder. Nothing. I tried again and heard a slight groan.

"Matthew wake up, your meeting is in half an hour."
His eyes opened and he yawned. His eyes widened when he realised what we did but I guess he shook it off.

A week later
----------

I've been up all night waiting for Matt to return. He told me he would be back at 10, it's 3 am.

I've called him non-stop but he hasn't picked up.
Where the hell is he?

A drunk Matt stepped through the door.

"Where the hell were you?! I've been calling you non stop and haven't gotten an answer!" I shouted at him.

He walked pass me and into his room.

"Matthew I expect an answer!"
A wave of anger entered my body. I followed him to his room.

"Leave me alone." he Murmured

"Why aren't you talking to me?!" I complained gripping his shoulder.

"Get off. I don't need you." He spat

I felt my heart drop, why was he acting like this?

"I thought you loved me." I silently spoke

"Plot twist, I don't." He said sternly, taking off his jacket. "Get out of my room now. Or else."

I stood still my whole body shaking, tears started to run down my face.

"I said get out." He stepped towards me raising his hand, we were only inches away when I murmured
"I'm -I'm pregnant." I looked him in the eye sobbing.

But before I knew it I felt a hard sting on my face. He hit me. I felt it again but harder, my vision grew blurry as he pushed me against the wall.

I felt dizzy and I had no control. My vision became black as I fell.
