I woke up at the crack of dawn again, despite me having wanted as much sleep as possible before. The sun shined in my eyes and I sighed, deciding to get up and get ready most all of the other girls slept.

I remembered how on my first day the last time, Haku had met with me. No such luck this time. I was alone. And so I decided to get ready then collect some breakfast and take it for Kamaji, seeing as how Lin had mentioned she was so busy she even missed the chance to do that sometimes.

Walking down to the canteen, I took some breakfast and then left through the back door to take the steps to the boiler room. I needed some fresh air.

But this time around, once I reached the top of the steps, I didn't see the pigsty that used to be there. No I saw the best looking building in this place - a gorgeous old yet new building with several stories.

It looked as if it could be a library of some sort, surrounding by flourishing plants and bushes. Perhaps it belonged to Master Saiko. Perhaps that's where Haku was.

Feeling a chill run through me, I stopped looking at the building and then took the descent down to the boiler room door, my footsteps pattering softly against the wooden steps.

As soon as I got to the bottom, I opened the door and walked in, seeing that Kamaji was stirring from his sleep as he had already started drinking from his teapot.

"Good morning." I piped up with a smile, holding out a bowl of muffins for him.

"Sen, it's nice to see you so bright and early. And for me? Thank you my dear." He took the bowl happily, pouring me some tea and handing me some tea in return which I drank gratefully.

Then I heard squeaks and turned to see the soot rushing towards me, their eyes wide.

"Hi, you guys!" I said happily, grinning down at them as I sipped on my tea.

"They really do adore you." Kamaji laughed fondly at me before adding, "So what brings you down here so early? You do realise it's before six."

"I woke up early. Thought I'd come and give you some food. Because Lin said she doesn't manage that sometimes." I replied, taking another sip.

"That's kind of you, my dear. Yes, Lin doesn't manage it sometimes although she always tries, bless her." Kamaji shook his head, sighing a little as he ate.

"Can I ask you a question?" I piped up but before he could answer, I went on, "What's that building? Where the pig pen used to be?"

"That's Master Saiko's library." Kamaji answered with his mouthful. So I was right. "He made it when he arrived. It has all of his important things in, I heard. Although I've only been once. Most of the other workers don't get to go at all. I only went because I'm the boiler man."

"Right.." I murmured. "Thanks for telling me. I just thought it looked important, you see." I noted.

"Yes, it is." Kamaji then became otherwise distracted with his food and so I sat down, crossing my legs as I sipped on my tea. It was nice here. Peaceful.
