"Help!" I was yelling, not knowing who could help as I fell to my probable death but still freaking out, my stomach doing somersaults.

At this point, I think Saiko, Kamaji and Haku had heard me, running out of the boiler room to see what was going on.

When I neared the ground, I scrunched up my eyes and prepared for impact, whispering, "I'm sorry, please don't die." But then I stopped.

Nothing had happened. Opening my eyes tentatively, I saw that I was levitating midair, my body suspended halfway through the fall. I looked around, opening my eyes fully to see that I had stopped.

"Oh my God." I whispered and then I found myself floating down to the ground. What was happening?!

I looked back up at the ledge I'd just fallen off to see Saiko, Kamaji, and Haku staring at me - dumbstruck. But I took this opportunity to my advantage, starting to run. I wanted to go to Zeniba's and then, in the blink of an eye, I was outside the Swamp Bottom cottage.

What the Hell had just happened?!

Taking a shaky breath, I went and knocked on Zeniba's door. Once, twice and then again, freaking out.

What was going on?

Zeniba answered the door, seeing my face and I was most likely shocked because gently took my hand and she pulled me in.

"Sen, what's the matter?" She asked, pulling me in for a hug.

"Granny.." I started to explain what'd just happened, babbling on about how I'd just started levitating midair instead of dying. I wasn't complaining but I was shocked, not knowing what had happened.

But she seemed calm, leading me to sit down and then I saw No-Face who came over to see me, making his usual noises.

I gave him a shaky smile, leaning back on the couch.

"That's very unusual, Sen." Zeniba spoke and then I went on to tell her everything Saiko had told me regarding Ichika and why he brought me here.

She listened intently, nodding every few moments and then I stopped talking to her, exhaling a little.

Figuring I was finished, she started talking again although this time her tone was slow, "I've seen this before. Individuals learning spells and ending up conjuring magic when they least expect it. I think... You used magic, Sen."

"But.. I'm human."

"Well, if you think about it. You're not a human here. You're frozen. You're one of us."

I couldn't quite believe it, quiet for a few moments as I came to the conclusion that I'd somehow learned some magic that'd saved my life.

"And as for the whole story about... well, your life, I just want to advise you to take everything smartly." She continued after a moment, "You are your own person, Sen. Spirits and a convoluted backstory do not define you."
