I grabbed the bat from my closet and walked down stairs I saw blood against the wall and a pool of it on the floor I had completely been downstairs and dropped my bat and covered my mouth

"Oh my god.."

I looked down to see Mel's neck sliced open and her mouth shot open as well as her eyes I put my back to the wall as I looked to see Andrew guts out I was going to be sick I tried to hold in whatever could've been me throwing up

I looked one more time and couldn't hold it in I leaned over and threw up I wiped my mouth and grabbed my phone and was going to call 911 but stopped as I felt someone behind me

"Don't scream..."the dark voice had spoken to me

"P-please don't hurt me.."

"I'm not going to hurt you.."

I was silent and tears were filling my eyes and I closed my eyes and swung the bat and he caught it

"no don't do that"I froze

"Come with me.."He went in front if me and had immediately looked at him I saw a blue mask and his eyes where black and looked like they were bleeding but it was black blood..

"W-what are we doing and where are we going?.."

He sighed and looked at me "just follow me okay. "

I was silent he told me to change into real cloths and he told me to take what I'm wearing as a pj

I grabbed black skinny jeans and a blue crop had put my other cloths in a small backpack and put down my hair I walked out

He looked at me and I stayed silent

"O-okay come on"he led me out side and gave me a mask

"Put this on it will hide our identity's"I grabbed the mask and put it on

I saw a vehicle appearing and we got into it I went into the passenger seat and tucked my legs up

We started driving and I was falling asleep but I didn't want to so I tried to keep them open

"You can go to sleep."

I looked at him and said I was fine

"You haven't slept in a while just go to sleep"

I went looked up ahead at the road and leaned my head against the window I looked out and smiled...

I was free...

*Time skip to sun rise*

I had woken up and saw the sky I looked at the boy who still looked wide awake as he realized I was awake he had looked at me then looked back

"Hey"He looked at me once again

"hi.. "My voice was still a little tired and scared

"Are you hungry?"I was confused on why he killed them and not me

"Yeah a little.. "He reached and grabbed a sandwich

"Here its just to get you a little full"He handed me the sandwich

"What's your name?"I was a little surprise at the question but decided to answer anyway

"Y/n.. "

"Wow that's a pretty name"he smiled and it kinda made me smile

"Thank you.."

"W-whats yours?.. "He looked at me and gave a sympathy look

"You can call me Jack.."His mask still kinda frightened me..

"W-why do you wear a mask?...

"Its just to hide my identity dont worry about it.."

I had looked out my window looking at the sky

"Where are we going?...

"A friends house"his voice seemed emotionless

"These people are like me.. There mysterious and you might be frightened at them at first but you will get use to them"

Wh-what do you mean exactly like you?.."I was still a little frightened because if what he did to Mel and Andrew the same question kept gone in in my head

Why didn't he kill you and why did he decide to take you?.."

"Uhm can I ask you something... J-jack?

"Okay?"

"Back at my house... Why didn't you kill me?..."

He looked at the road and sighed before speaking

"I've been watching you for a while and I saw how that man treated you and what that woman did.. Every time I saw them hurt you it would get me mad and I had enough of it..."

"O-oh okay..."

"Y/n? "His voice had gotten serious

"Yeah?.."

"Why did you let that man touch you the way he did?"He took a small look at me

"As much as I hated it I couldn't do anything about it or I would get in jeopardy of getting hurt more it was hard but I ended up getting through it"I scoffed and laughed a little

"You probably think I weak... "I looked at my hands in guilt and closed my eyes

"Hey.."he pulled over and looked at me

"I don't think your weak or useless I honestly think that your strong you are very strong"I looked down and he brought up my chin to make me look at him "I think your very strong for getting through all that without trying to give up or think of suicide..."

What he said made me feel better and made me think of him in a different way... I don't know why he cared...
