"You guys ready?"
The group of three was standing outside of the door where, undoubtedly, the one behind this would be waiting."
"I guess so..." akechi said, clearly uneased by something.
"Well, actually, I forgot to do many things on the way here, and I gotta cal-"
THRASH
The two boys entered the doorframe, leaving futaba behind.
"Why do I even speak-"
—————————
When they entered the room, what met them was a posh sort of living room, with what seemed to be a man with a burning flame for a head playing a claire de lune on a piano in the corner. He noticed them and turned around to welcome his "guests"."Ah! Your here! Welcome, welcome. Please, sit do-"
Akira jumped at the man, tackling him to the ground, then pinning him against the wall.
"Skip the formalities. I've got two important questions for you. One; why did you do this.
Two; give me a good reason why I shouldn't take this GUN AND REDUCE YOUR HEART TO MUSH."The man was severely taken aback by this, and clearly intimidated as he responded
"J-Jesus Christ, calm down! I'm just the butler here, I d-didn't do anyth-thing-"
You are such a coward. Absolutely useless. Send them in. We're having a talk later, and you'll be lucky if your head isn't lighting up my office.
"A-Affirmative-"
Akira unpinned the man from the wall.
The man sighed.
"The Boss will see you now-" the man said dejectedly, like he'd said it a thousand times before.
The group started walking toward the opened door, before akechi turned around and spoke.
"Uh, hey- sorry for the whole issue back there."
The man looked up, and sighed yet again.
"Don't be. It's fine- really. I'm used to it at this point. Just do me a favor, and don't die, ok?
"...sure... by the way, I never caught your name-"
"Callum. Now seriously, go. You stay any longer and we're both as good as dead."
Akechi reluctantly walked away, leaving Callum alone in the room.
He sighed, and walked over to the mirror, where he pulled it off to reveal a tally counter.
He pushed the button three times, then put it back.
People I've let get killed by my boss:
