kokichi age regresses to help cope with his emotional problems, and hides this from everyone until one day miu had found him crying into his knees on his room floor, and ever since she's been there to help him through whatever he needs. when regressing, he has found comfort in referring to her as "mommy," and she doesn't mind at all. miu always plays with his hair and he finds it really calming and sometimes when cuddling, he just curls up into a ball against her, hiding his red face.
