As you flew above Hogwarts school you began to see a change in the school. Everyone was happy the war had ended but sadness still wandered around the school due to the death of Dumbledore. ( a/n Snape and Fred are still alive, carry on.) As you landed your broomstick Headmistress McGonagall stood at the front entrance with a warm smile along with Hagrid.
You ran to your old friends with happiness swelling in your heart as they welcomed you with a hug.
"It's good to see you again," Headmistress McGonagall said with a smile.
"Same to you," You said with a big smile.

"I see you've upgraded," said Hagrid as he pointed to your broom. You chuckled and nodded your head.
"The other one was getting too old." You said as you, McGonagall, and Hagrid walked into the school. Young witches and wizards filled the eating hall laughing, talking, and hugging. It brought a smile to your face to see the children,-you've always liked kids- how happy and innocent they were, and their cute giggles.
Hagrid and the Headmistress walked to the front of the room with you following. Kids of all ages turned and looked at you, trying to see who you were, and how you would contribute to Hogwarts. You keep a smile on your face as you ran in front of Hagrid and McGonagall to get to Snape. Jumping on his back Hagrid chuckled at the reunited best friends.
Snape quickly drew his wand at the weight put on him but quickly put it back as he saw you were no threat. Instead, he surprised the school by hugging you. Snape was known to not show any emotion other than anger and have a foul mood.
"Where have you been," he whispered into your ear as he pulled away smiling from ear to ear.
You smiled and said, "I was discovering the world here and there, and then back again, once I found out about the war I headed back over to Hogwarts." Then you noticed how quiet it was, you looked around and saw everyone looking at you and Snape's interaction. Your s/c cheeks flushed in embarrassment as you bowed your head and apologized to the students.
You rose your head and locked eyes with one of the students Draco Malfoy. You brightly smiled at him as to waltzed over to him and said, "It's nice to finally meet you." He smiled and stood up and responded with a hug and smile.
But pulled away due to your formal clothes. "Don't you think you're a little overdressed?" He said with a smirk knowing you like to wear very fancy clothes. You looked down and whispered a small nope as you began to spin for him to see the whole outfit.
