"Hey! That's not nice." They crossed their arms and pouted but didn't notice the light blush on the pale boy's face.

"Will you be my friend?"

A long silence filled the air, the boys light blush now becoming darker as the s/c child looked at him with a smile.

"W-what if I say no, then what?"

"Then I'll just leave you alone," They replied as they made their way to get up. Grabbing their wrist, Severus pulled them back beside him. He could finally have a friend who wouldn't leave him while he was being bullied, Instead stand up for him.

"Sure, I'll be your friend." He said with a small smile.

And his new friend smiled back.

End of Flashback

"You should get some rest Mx. L/n." Dumbledore suggested, he even looked tired himself and he was a magical painting. But he was right you had Slytherin and Gryffindor to teach tomorrow.

"You right Albus, Goodnight too you," you said as you rose up from your seat and made your way down the stairs.

"Goodnight Y/n," you heard Dumbledore's voice softly speak as you closed the door.

You made your way down the long corridor, stopping to see a (tall/depends on your height) figure looking out at the night sky on a balcony. You joined them mysterious person to make sure it wasn't a student out of bed, even if it was you wouldn't mind. You looked at the person only to see Severus staring at the Whomping Willow Tree.

He muttered a few words but from where you were standing you only heard a few.

"...best day of my life."
