You were tasked with showing Hop around the agency, but to beware- nobody knew how he would behave without Leon's guidance, having followed him like a puppy for so long. Even so, you chose to trust him, leaving him to his own devices. At least, for a little while. "Hey, Y/N. How long do ya reckon it'd take for Sonia to miss her pen?" He asked, a mischievous undertone to his suspicious question. That's when you noticed a familiar object in his hand. The camo pen! He sure was a talented little crook.
Sternly, you gave him a lecture on how he can't just up and take. He clearly heard none of it, nodding lazily along. "Yeah, yeah. I got it. I won't do it again." The little rascal held your hand, making your face heat up in embarrassment. "So, where to?" You pointed to the elevator from which you had came, dragging him along.
"Hey, be gentle!"
Standing in the silver box together, the two of you slumped exhaustedly against the wall. It had been a long, long day. Sonia was already in her lab- you'd have to return the tiny widget to her later. Why was the elevator taking so long? Well, whatever. Lost in thought, you paid no attention to your surroundings. Hop took this chance to sneak up on you, quickly grabbing you by the waist. "Boo!" You jumped out of your skin, trembling. How dare he! You'd have to give him a piece of your mind for that!
"Haha! Don't be mad, Y/N. You were ASKING for it!" His bright, giddy smile was nothing short of satisfying. Realizing the position you both were in, you grew quiet, turning all sorts of shades of pink. "... Y/N? What's wrong?" It wasn't until you stopped speaking entirely that he even noticed what he'd done. Embarrassed, he swiftly moved away, back to the wall where he came from. "S-Sorry!" All you could do to reassure him was nod a bit. Tense, awkward silence filled the ride down. You considered making small talk, but what would you talk about? Fighting each other all the time? Not exactly the best topic to make friends over.
Finally, it was over. You had finally arrived. Pulling him eagerly out of the elevator, you ran to your workspace, giving him the "grand tour". "Woah! It's huge!" He gasped, making you snicker. "Eww, Y/N! Stop being gross." Hop punched your shoulder playfully, to which you did the same. It was just too good to pass up! At your desk was an emergency phone, a few sparkly what-ya-call-its and whozzy-does-its, the works. Honestly, you couldn't explain half of your belongings. You looked like a hoarder. "I'm gonna guess you needed these, at some point." Hopefully you did.
The phone started to ring.
Eagerly, you answered. You didn't normally get calls from the emergency phone- y'know, with it being for emergencies. "Hello? Y/N? The chairman wants you to send our newest recruit to his office. Thank you." That... Wasn't much of an emergency. Hopefully it's for something important. You gave Hop directions on where to go, and the two of you parted ways. Sitting down at your desk, you began to drift off.

Stepping into the office, Hop took a sharp breath. The door was already open when he arrived. Hopefully this wasn't some kind of test. Just as he reached for the right words to say, a powerful though suspiciously kind voice resounded through the room. "Well, that didn't take long! Hello, Hop. I'm-" "C-Chairman Rose! It's a pleasure to- I-I mean it's nice to- Oh no, that's not formal enough-" He stumbled over his words out of excitement, the head of the agency merely laughing at his embarrassment.
"It's nice to meet you too. Now, why don't you tell me a bit about your experience with Leon?" With this, he grew immediately defensive. The ex-convict was silent in response. "... I don't want to talk about grown-up things right now." A bit annoyed, the chairman kept his cool. "I see. Well, you might want to reconsider. You wouldn't want anything bad to happen to Y/N, would you?" Taken aback by this, Hop tried to keep his own composure. "I don't care."
Amused, Chairman Rose snapped his fingers, and in the next instant, a sharp object flew toward Hop's face. Swiftly, he dodged it, only to then be shackled with handcuffs from behind. Panicked, he tried to turn around, though he couldn't. He was already against the wall. Another set of cuffs secured his ankles. "What's going on-?!" The man before him smiled as though he had done nothing wrong. "Try to leave, and Y/N gets hurt. Your choice. Hopefully, you'll be enough to convince your brother to cooperate." Walking away, he dismissed the disgruntled mumbling of a distraught Hop.
The door shut, leaving him in pitch black darkness.

"How do you still remember this place..?" Raihan gaped in awe, shining a small flashlight built into his headband. Letting out a small chuckle, Leon pressed his hand against the sturdy rock walls. "I can find my way in the dark, you know. Just hold my hand." Caught off-guard, the agent felt his cheeks warm up. "What the-?! I'm fine! Keep going." "I meant to save battery..." Embarrassed, he stared at the ground for a minute. "I, uh... I knew that. Totally."
"Disappointed?" A bit surprised, the dragon fanged male took a minute to collect himself. Did losing his mind somehow make Leon bolder? He'd never been so brave. Or had he? Tauntingly, Raihan rolled his eyes. "Keep movin'. Are we almost there?" His partner answered in the vaguest way possible, just to tease him. "Maybe. You know I'm not good at directions." Groaning in frustration, he kept close behind.
"If I didn't need you, I'd beat you up for that."
-A/N: Oh no. The image of a teenaged Hop cuffed to a wall is my new aesthetic. May God help us all. Amen.-
