Waking amongst the rubble, Raihan felt his entire body go numb. Oh, great. He would have to walk on that later. A familiar hand lie unmoving underneath the cluster of rock. Wary, though sympathetic, he began to move the stone and bricks. After all, he wasn't heartless- no matter if Leon was his enemy or not. His corpse didn't deserve to be smothered under all of the dirt and debris. At least, what he thought was his rival's corpse.

Swiftly, the kinder spy was overtaken, much to his surprise. "W-Where am I? You have ten seconds to- Wait, Raihan? What's going on...? Where's the chairman?" Overwhelmed, Raihan stayed silent for a moment before finally speaking up. "Hey, don't play dumb. What happened to all that 'traitor' stuff? Thought you didn't like me anymore." Leon stared at him, utterly dumbfounded. "What are you talking about? You're being weird. Anyway," He stood up, treating all of his injuries as though they didn't exist as he popped his shoulder back into place.

"Time to find the chairman. Which way to base?"

For a moment, he could've sworn a pin dropped during the silence. Or maybe it was just more rocks. Regardless, the quiet was deafening. "Leon. Are you alright in the head? You haven't been back to base in like, a year. You're not an agent anymore. At least, not ours." Clearly taken aback, the amnesiac convict took a moment to collect himself. "What? How is that possible...? I was just with the chairman, then I woke up. I saw Hop, and the explosion, and... There's no way! Raihan... Please, believe me." The look of sheer panic in his eyes was enough to convince Raihan that he was somehow telling the truth. His lively, energetic eyes, that were empty just a few minutes ago. He'd missed them, very, very much.

"Hey. Let's focus on finding Hop and Y/N first, okay? They should be around here somewhere, with Sonia." After a few seconds of even more silence, Leon extended his hand. "I don't know what's going on, but if I can help, I will." Smiling, Raihan eagerly took him up on his offer. At least something good came out of all this. "Good. Or I'd have to totally kick your butt. So, which way?" "You know me and directions don't match."

And so they began their search.

"Y/N, I'm scared." Hop admitted, staring towards the ground. It was obvious he was worried for his brother. Flashing him a reassuring grin, you held his hand. Rolling her eyes, Sonia faked a gag. "Eww! Don't do that, Y/N! He has cooties!" The three of you nearly bursted with laughter. Even in such a grim situation, there would always be times when you could make light. "Hey, Y/N's got the cooties now!" He held his hands up in a playful, defensive manner.

"Alright, kiddos, we gotta report this to HQ. Hop, you might be taken into custody for questioning," The redhead warned, your smiles vanishing. Would you even see each other again? It was unlikely. "... If you get caught." There it is. Your giddy expressions quickly returned. "We won't! Promise! I learned a lot from Lee. Even your HQ's blueprints down to the foundation!" Surprised, Sonia let out an awkward giggle. "Uh, Hop, that's kinda illegal. Like, really, really illegal."

Pulling out some sort of gadget from her pocket, the scientist pressed down on the corner of her lab coat. "Tech to EMT, contact engineering for a vehicle. Rescue mission success. We need an escape, over." The response on the other side was one of plain, apathetic nature. Probably Piers. Oh, who were you kidding, it was definitely him. "Any casualties?" Her brows seemed to furrow, eyes glazed over with sadness. "... One MIA." Both of them knew to hope for the worst. "... A  helicopter is on the way. Secure a landing site ten feet ahead." Pain was evident in both of their voices, but they said no more than what was needed. Well, aside from one line. "I'm sorry, Piers."

There was no response.

You asked Sonia if she was okay. "Well, come on! We gotta back up a little, okay?" She deflected your question rather fast. Maybe the comfort and small talk could happen on the ride back, or after this was all over. Still holding Hop's hand, you led him away. "Do you think Sonia is gonna be okay? You know... Without him." Squeezing his wrist a bit, you nodded. Sonia was a formidable spy on her own- when she first started, she wasn't a scientist, but a front line assassin's decoy. She knew her way around.

"This is all my fault." He never once brought his eyes up from the earthen floor. Did he think he couldn't face you? You tried reassuring him that it was Leon's fault, and that eventually, everything would be fine- he was only doing what his brother told him to do. Looking up at you, he seemed to be hiding something. What could that be? A small, meek "thanks" escaped him as he laid his head on your shoulder.

Your escape ticket arrived.
