Chapter 2

Arthur's POV

Usually, when it was morning, I would get abruptly woken up by my older stepbrother, Gilgamesh. He's very loud in the morning as he would force me to make him, his younger brother Ozymandias and my stepfather, Lucius Tiberius some breakfast. All three men were very greedy and loud as they sometimes went to molest me at night. They don't do anything extreme, but they do touch my private parts which  was very uncomfortable for me. Sometimes, I get abused by my stepfather if I didn't do the housework properly and punish me by whipping my back, making so many cuts. It's very painful that I sometimes cry myself to sleep after finishing housework. However, something was very different. I was woken up by someone else as I slowly opened my eyes and looked to the direction of the voice. I saw a woman who looked like a maid standing on the edge of the bed as I slowly sat up and noticed that I'm not in my room.

Maid: Good morning, princess

Arthur: *confused* 'Princess? When did I became one??' Um......where am I? And who are......you?

Maid: Oh! You're inside his royal highness's bedroom. And I'm Rose, his royal highness's maid

Arthur: *more confused* Wait, what time is it right now??

Rose: Princess, relax. It's 9 am in the morning. His royal highness wanted to let you rest more since he told his majesty what had happened to you

Arthur: 😳Wait; Am I inside the Chaldea Castle?!

Rose: Princess, don't panic. Relax. And yes you are inside the castle of the kingdom. But first you need to get ready

Arthur: For what?

Rose: Morning tea and breakfast with his royal highness

Arthur: Oh, okay

So I got out of the bed, followed Rose to the bathroom that has a very nice interior. She told me to strip off the nightgown I was wearing and got in a bathtub with lukewarm water. Rose started to wash my hair as I relaxed inside the bathtub. After a couple of minutes, she told me to dry up as she went to get something for me to wear. I nodded as I dried my hair with a towel while waiting for Rose to come back. As I was brushing my hair after drying it, I heard scratching and it spooked me as the scratching sound came from the door. I slowly walked up to the door and opened it to see a white dog sitting down. I kneel down and slowly extend my hand to touch its fur. The dog sniffed my hand and started licking it slowly as its tail started wagging. I let out a soft giggle as the dog wagged its tail more and started walking into the bathroom which I was surprised, but went back to brushing my hair. Rose came back to the bathroom and found the dog sitting next to me as I was continuing to brush my hair.

Rose: Shi! Get out of the bathroom!

Arthur:  I don't mind if the dog sits here. It's not bothering me, and I'm assuming that this dog is curious

Rose: Are you sure, Princess?

Arthur: Yes😊

Rose: Alright. Let's get you dressed

Arthur: Sure

5 minutes later

Arthur: *looking at the mirror in a simple pinkish color dress with heels and simple accessories* Wow

Rose: Do you like it?

Arthur: Yes 😄

Rose: Okay, let's go to his highness
