Living for the right reasons

After the accidental demolition of Seabrook Power, life returns to normal for most people. Adults go back to work and kids go back to school. Everyone was unaffected except for the Werewolves, who were all holed up inside the Den inside the Forbidden Forest.

"Attention, Everyone! Your new president, Bucky, reminds you that Prawn is tomorrow night." Bucky's voice rings through the school announcement system before changing to Principal Lee's voice. "As you know, with the anti-monster laws still in place, this is a Human-Only event." She says monotonously.

Back in the Forbidden Forest, the wolves who were healthy enough to stand and walk were passing out blankets to those who were sicker. Some were even healthy enough to go to school but kept getting distracted by someone else needing help. After we had given up on trying to send people to school, which had already ended at this point, Zed entered the Den with an undecipherable look on his face.

"They were wrong to destroy Seabrook Power, and I was wrong about werewolves. You have every right to fight for who you are." Zed exclaims with a determined look, almost like he has an evil plan. "Yeah, but what are we now, Zombie," Wyatt says aggressively as he hands another blanket to a shivering werepup. I glance up from the tone Wyatt had given Zed before turning back to Adam and Darcy, who were turning paler by the day.

Stopping to think for a moment, I catch onto what Zed was trying to rally us up for. "We're fierce, proud werewolves!" I exclaim standing and looking at everyone in the main room of the Den, before turning back to Zed with a cheeky smirk. "Yeah, but they think we are monsters!" Adam says angrily as he grabs my arm. "We are monsters!" Zed yells as everyone seems to catch onto Zed's plan, nodding in collective agreement.

The Den is pure chaos as about 50 werewolves try and get ready to leave simultaneously. The Zombies would also be here soon, which would take even more space. My Prawn dress was a midnight blue, ankle-length dress with light touches of fur and gems along the bust and shoulders. My make-up was also a midnight blue color palette with a bold, dark red for my lips, alongside my pack markings. After the Zombies arrive, the entire group heads out of the Den, through the Forbidden Forest, towards Seabrook High.

Bucky and The Acey's walk out of their limo in bright and sparkly dresses or tuxes. As they walk by other Prawn guests, they greet them. "Thank you, Sir. After you. What's that?" When he turns to greet other guests, he's stopped by the people forming a path and a perfect view of the very fancy-looking Werewolves and Zombies that were approaching. "It's Zombies!" JC states looking over at Stacey. "And Werewolves!" Stacey exclaims looking at Bucky. "In formal wear? ... They look good." Bucky and the other two Acey's turn to look at Lacey, who shrinks back at their harsh glares.

"You guys can't be here. There are laws against this!" Bucky practically whines as the group comes to a stop in front of him. "Bad laws are meant to be broken," Zed says confidently as he places a hand on his hip and another around my shoulders. "And monsters don't follow rules," I state perfectly completing Zed's statement, which makes the others smile. "Zombies are a part of Seabrook, Bucky, and we deserve to be here too," Eliza claims as she takes a step towards a nervous-looking Bucky. "We're a part of Seabrook, too!" Wyatt smirks as he places a hand around my waist slightly shoving Zed's arm off of me. "The originals." Adam also states from behind the shorter Wynter.

"Someone's got to stop you," Bucky says forcefully before turning and preparing to pull the lever on the Z-alarm that stood behind him. Before he can do anything, Willa rushes up to him snarling in his face, as her eyes and Moonstone necklace glow a pale yellow. Bucky cowers in fear before allowing the group to enter. "Welcome to Prawn!"

The groups entering Prawn cause a commotion with the people dancing inside, but a few people are excited to see the other species join the mix. "Bonzo!" Bree yells running up to the Zombie and hugging him. Bonzo says something to Bree that makes her tear up with joy. "Yes! I'll go to Prawn with you!" She exclaims loudly making the people near her look back in annoyance. "Finally." I breathe out as I look between Melody and Darcy.
