Chapter 3: Danger

Seeing this human that was right in front of me, made me want to scream. I saw him as the one that had used me and emotionally broke me. He had made me do things that I had never wanted to do. Anthony Rodriguez, that name had always given me chills even thinking about his name had me wanting to kill him. Noah was walking towards him and when I had made eye contact with Anthony he didn't say anything.

"Rodriguez I shall introduce to my fiance Katherine," Noah said professional

"Well it is very nice to meet you Katherine I am Anthony Rodriguez"

"It's very nice to meet you Mr. Rodriguez" Katherine looked at him with a devilish look, Noah didn't catch her making the face but Anthony had seen. Anthony had walked away, Katherine wanted Noah to know why she didn't like him, but she couldn't tell him. As soon as we entered the house there were all eyes on us, I was the new face of it all. The attention was too much to take in but I was kind of enjoying it. The last time I had this attention was when I first came to school, but now I'm a fiance to a mafia leader. Noah had left me with the members of the gang, he told them to keep an eye on me. Noah had left to speak to some other leaders, he was laughing and smiling and that gave me some comfort seeing him enjoying himself. I went walking around and ate some food, the food was very delicious. Some people who came here were some people that came up to congratulate me and others stayed looking at me crazy. I went to use the restroom, I left into the hallway and saw him. He was right in front of the bathroom and told me to go. I had walked right in front of him giving him a sign to move.

"Don't you miss me?" Anthony said, looking Katherine up and down.

Katherine looked at him and smacked him in the face, "You're gonna die, and the day that it happens it will be me pulling the trigger and this isn't a threat it's a promise" Anthony moved out the way while laughing at her words. Katherine was in the bathroom she had used and when she came out of the stall, she had looked in the mirror and started crying. Anthony was one person she hated with a passion. Katherine was crying so much. The time was going by when her mother-in-law came in to find her. Katherine had quickly wiped her face, her mother-in-law looked at her and knew that something was up. Elizabeth didn't say anything but she had told Katherine that Noah was looking for her. They both had walked out of the bathroom, Katherine went to look for Noah. When she found him he was talking to some guy. Noah saw her and quickly grabbed her with a tight hug after. They both laughed.

"My love my old friend Christian, Christian my fiance, Katherine. Honey We used to be with each other all the time, we were always playing with each other, we used to get into fights and we would help each other if we were losing but we never lost."

"Hello, Katherine, it is very nice to finally meet you. Noah was just talking to me about you." Kathrine and he had shared a nice handshake. They talked for a little while. It was starting to get later into the night and I was starting to get tired. I went looking around for at least 5 minutes and finally found Noah. He was at the entrance, it kind of looked like he was trying to find me. I walked towards him and he had his hand out waiting for me to grab it. As soon as we walked out the limo was already there waiting for us.

On the way back home I was starting to fall asleep, I tried my hardest to stay up but I couldn't. I woke up in bed with Noah's shirt on me. I assumed that he undressed me and placed me in bed. I went to look for Noah but couldn't find him anywhere so I decided to take a shower. After I came out of the shower I got dressed and went straight to the kitchen. I made myself something to eat, but I started to feel tired. But I tried to stay up just in case Noah comes and finds me. My eyes were getting so tired and heavy that I really couldn't keep them open. I went upstairs and got ready to take a nap, I was lying in bed and as I was falling asleep I could hear voices but since I was so tired I fell asleep. I knew that I was asleep for a long time. By the time that I had woken up, I had seen it was 2 in the morning. I looked next to me to see if Noah was next to me but he wasn't. I was starting to get worried, I went again looking around the house and still couldn't find him. I sat at the dining room table and waited. Waiting till he got home or appeared out of nowhere, I still didn't have a phone so it wasn't like I could call him. I had stayed at the dining room table and I didn't realize that it was 5 in the morning and Noah still wasn't home. At this point, Katherine started to get worried she didn't know what to do. She had waited and waited and he still wasn't home. I was starting to panic. He didn't leave a note and I was in the house by myself. There were only guards outside of the house and by the gates but nothing else. I went to the room and just laid down and waited. I had started to hear a commotion downstairs. I quickly ran downstairs and saw that one of the members of the gang was shot. I saw that Noah was covered in blood, most likely the gang members or his blood. They placed him in one of the rooms that I wasn't allowed to go in, Noah was with him so he didn't pay any mind to me so I sat outside the door and waited. I was starting to get tired again and accidentally fell asleep on the floor but when I woke up I was sleeping on the bed right next to Noah. I could tell that he just recently went to bed, he was freshly shaved and he smelled like straight cologne. Noah usually goes to sleep without a shirt on but tonight he had his shirt on. It made me curious about why tonight out of all nights that he has a shirt on. I didn't pay any mind to it and decided to go downstairs and get water. I had passed by the room the member was in. I was tempted to go into the room but something told me not to. I grabbed some water and went back upstairs to sleep.
