JELLOTHS are born slightly likes normal humans , once they are born they are incased with jelly and continue to grow till around toddler size
once they reach this size by then most are strong enough to break apart their jelly encasement , from then on they continue to grow and age like a human
this process is important for jelloths as they do not have blood nor a heart , so in their encasement phase their bodies take this time for the kids to form their own jelly
THE WISTERIA TREE was created by a large group of jelloths who had begun fearing their own safety as bird species had been targetting them more often
using their jelly and some tree seeds and leaves they managed to create a hybrid wisteria tree , unlike most trees the roots do not bury into the ground
in order to keep the tree strong and healthy they find corpses of animals and encase them with jelly , and in theres an opening of the tree where the jelly bodies get thrown and the tree uses that nutrients to grow
they can use things like leaves and other tree seeds but , usually the bigger the species that are dissolved into the jelly the longer the tree can last without having to repetivelly go and get more materials
the tree feeds on jelly and a mix of other things that can be found in animals and plants , some jelloths have toxic jelly that they use to dissolve the animal in which then the jelly and dissolved animal melt into the ground and the tree sucks in that nutrients from its trunk
IN THE PAST jelloths couldn't speak with humans nor any animals since they had their own dialect , but nowadays most moths have naturally learned human tongue instead of their own
plenty of older jelloths still speak the old tongue but , most speak english
this also means that they hadn't been able to talk with other species , but due to new knowledge and learning they've learned ways to communicate with other bugs and critters
some jelloths specialize in learning and teaching how to speak with critters and bugs , it hasn't been successful in forming peace with any yet since the last jelloth who tried got killed
FOR DECADES jelloths have lived in a monarchy type of rule , the king rules and passes on leadership to their kin , this rule still hasn't changed and doesnt plant to
although there is ways that a family can get out of monarchy
if the current king passes on leadership to another family , that family starts their monarchy as soon as their youngest reach the right age to rule
the second way is more of a murder tactic placed down as a rule to show the citizens can still control who has leadership , if a jelloths manages to sneak into the castle without being caught by anyone and kill the king they become the next ruler without consequence
if they do get caught sneaking into the castle they are sent to the dungeon unless they have evidence that shows they've been allowed in ,
