Chapter 7 First Day Joining Class 1-A And Quirk Apprehension Test

It's now spring, and school at U.A. is now open.

Shota and I are eating breakfast when we begin talking.

"Hey dad, are you going to give my class a surprise test today?" I ask him already knowing the answer.

"Obviously. I do it every year. Why should this year be any different?" He asked me.

"Do I have to participate? You already know my abilities, and my potential." I said.

"No you don't have to, but you can still do it like the entrance exam. But don't expect any special treatment just because you're my son." He told me.

"Don't worry, I won't. But be prepared for me to become number 1." I told him.

"That's fine and all, but try not to attract too much attention to yourself." He said.

"Okay, fine, I'll do my best." I said before getting up.

"Well, I gotta go. I'm going to pick up Kyo on the way to school." I told him.

"Okay then. Just be careful on your way. And just because you have your hero license, don't abuse that power. Or use your powers unless necessary." He cautioned.

"Don't worry, I won't." I said as I was leaving the house.

I also kept my hero license in my wallet at all times in case I'm attacked and need to use my quirk to defend myself. I also wore my own capture weapon around my neck. (Its red and black)

After I left the house I used Instant Transmission to teleport to Kyo's house. (A/N whenever mc uses any quirk, except for the passive ones, his appearance changes. And I'm to lazy to describe/tell you because you already know this)

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock* Was the sound of me knocking on Kyo's house.

After a couple of seconds the door opened. Jiro's mother had answered the door.

"Well good morning Rex. It's nice to see you this morning." She greeted me.

"It's nice to see you too." I said.

"Are you here to pick up Kyoka?" She asked me.

"Yes I am. Today is our first day of school at U.A." I said.

"That's good. You're going to have to wait, Kyouka is putting on makeup for you right now." She said.

At that moment we heard a crashing noise.

"Mom! What are you telling him? I am not putting on makeup! And I'm especially not putting it on for you!" She yelled while her face was bright red.

"Ok, ok then. Have a good day at school." She said to her daughter but then turned to me.

"And I'm expecting her to be home before dark." She said teasingly while smiling.

"Mom!" Yelled Kyo clearly embarrassed.

"Okay, I'll back off. But just be careful. " She said.

"Don't worry, we will. And I'll be sure to get her back before dark." I assured her.

"Let's just go." She said grabbing my arm and pulling me away from her house.

"What is the rush? I can get us there right now if you want." I say to her.

After we turned the corner on her street she stopped walking.

"Just so you know, I'm not wearing makeup for you. I just felt like wearing a bit today." She said.

And now that we stopped walking I could get a good look at her face. And what do I see? She is wearing makeup, but to be more specific, light makeup. She was wearing some blush, lip stick, and she did her eyebrows.
