Two months have passed since you fell into a deep slumber. Two torturous months since I've seen you smile, heard you laugh, pissed you off for not picking up my clothes from the floor.
Our home feels like an abandoned apartment without you. I don't like living there anymore. So, I've decided to move back to my parents' house with Tori until you wake up. They are happy to know that I'm going to be living with them again.
Mom and dad ask about you everyday. Mom misses baking with you. I miss seeing you mingle with her. I miss seeing that goofy smile on your face as you baked with her, getting the ingredients all over yourself.
You know, they think I'm going crazy. Everyone thinks I'm going crazy. But I'm not crazy. I just miss you.
Dr. Harding thinks that I should focus more on my surroundings, go out and talk to my friends. So, today I went to see Zora. I haven't seen her in weeks. She's stopped attending her classes. She's stopped taking my calls. She's stopped taking Charlie's calls.
She is a mess right now. She needs you. She needs her best friend. I need you. I need my best friend. Even that dumb Charlie has stopped cracking his lame jokes now. He always seems lost these days. Charlie and Zora don't talk to each other anymore. Their relationship is breaking apart, Ali.
We all are breaking apart. And only your presence can pull us back together, Ali. Like you did back in high school.
We need you Ali. We need our friend.
Zora? Who is she? Why don't I remember her? Why don't I remember them?
