Hello! As the number of participants for both Horror and Thriller were not enough we have combined both into the same category. And we have our two lovely judges Hedgehogslikefood  and OutgoingLoner_7  to thank! The results of this round are neck to neck and really close to each other! It was definitely a hard time deciding who is winning what. Congratulations to everyone in this round!

The Lone Home by GoldenUnseen

Cover — 10
Definitely eye catching

Title and blurb — 8
Title was relevant and perfect but the blurb looked boring. It would have been Bette to put some suspense elements into it

Plot — 7
It is well written and interesting but everything is too rushed

Protagonist — 3
No description of the characters

Antagonist — 3
Same

Supporting character — 3
Same

Anticipation — 4
The writing at the end was a bit turn off but since the plot was strong enough to keep reading

Plot development — 8
Too fast and guessable

Enjoyment — 8
There was some but since the book was devoid of any emotion or facial descriptions I couldn't feel the characters

Grammar and punctuation errors — 10
None

Rules — 10

Total score — 83/100

The book was pretty good, yet character interaction could have been better, and the suspense linked to the emotions of the character could have been improved also.

I don't think this one is too fair, as the book only has one published chapter. Though that chapter was excellent, I couldn't really calculate plot development. The only major problem is that there are quite a few grammar mistakes.

This. Book. Was. Brilliant. I loved the mystery in it, the investigative side to it, and I love how emotions came out throughout it. I just wish the cover (though fine as it is) was more unique.
