apart from the land of light,
below standing a man's eyes twinkled in delight.
surrounded by a world at war fighting for peace,
he grew up living in a dream.
and as he travels, he has come to finally understand the world.
not knowing it affected his own universe.
driven with passion and ignoring the creeping depression,
still, people around him applauded with adoration.
daydreaming, he watched the skies outside clear as day
wondering why he was blue that may.
thoughts of sadness came gushing and stayed
he knows his dreams are important like a child's play,
but then he met her that summer day,
and all the days ahead of him were nothing like yesterday.
