I'm alive.

I opened my eyes and found myself on a soft, small bed. Brick walls surrounding me. I'm in the basement of my home.

Why?

I very slowly sit up and take a long breath out, wincing at my back pain. The pressure reminds me of my recent battle and all the hits I took from the back. I sigh in memory of what happened.

I hear footsteps upstairs. They continue all the way downstairs. I move my eyes to see, trying not to move the rest of my body.

I have the ability to heal, but can I heal myself? I've never been this hurt before and I've never tried it.

"Hey." I hear the gentle voice of my sister.

Not wanting to talk I give her a weak, fake smile. She doesn't say anything, her face covered in worry. She sits at the end of the bed and lays her hand on my calf.

"What happened." I ask her, my voice cracks. Tears threatening to slip down.

"Theo..."

"What happened." I ask again, this time sounding more urgent but pain still laced in my voice.

"I...." She beings speaking slowly. She speaks slowly whenever somethings bad. The last time she spoke to me like this was when our mother passed. "I couldn't tell you." She shakes her head and looks at me with pity.

I try to heal myself without using my hands. I see a pale white glow from behind me, it's working.

"Healing yourself?" My sister ask, more like a statement. "I tried to get a healer, the first two said no, knowing we're sisters. I found four more and told them it was for someone else but when I brought them here the left. Fast. No one would help." Sadness drips off her words.

Six healers? Without going to a full medical center? Finding healers that don't work in the medical facility is a little difficult to find.

"I bought a few potions and remedy's for your skin, your entire body was very red, burned."

"How long was I out for?" I ask.

Her face changes expressions. "Almost a week."

My mouth falls open and my eyebrows raise.

"You were breathing, you were alive but... Not waking up. Dylan came over and he... I was just scared to take you to the hospital after what happened so I kept you here and tried to find some off business healers in town and-"

I cut her off and the glowing fades away. "Check for me." I tell Tiara.

My body felt a little better but I know I'm not fully recovered. She moves to right next to me and lifts my gray top. I know realise I'm not wearing the same clothes as before.

"You took a lot of blows to your back." She puts my shirt back down and looks at me. I nod, already knowing and feeling it. "It's red, but not as bad as before." I know she's sugar coating it.

I move my right leg off the bed, trying to get up.

"No.. No no no." She keeps repeating. Tiara gets off the bed and quickly gets to the other side, holding her arms out.

"I'm fine." I move my left leg and sit at the edge of the bed.

"Yeah but still, you know, so much happened to you. You still need to rest."

"I'm fine Tiara."

"No but-"

I stand up straight, trying to show her I'm fine. "I had a week to rest and recover-"

"Theo what happened to you is not some simple battle injury-"

"Tiara, I'm perfectly fine." I walk past her, limping a little and she softly holds onto my arm.

I let go and walk upstairs. I firmly grab onto the wooden railing as I go slowly.

"Um, just stay down here and I'll get you anything." She holds my hand softly but I keep walking upstairs. "Water, food, everything just stay down here and relax so you can-"

She stops talking when I get upstairs. I see why she was trying to keep my downstairs.

Our home was trashed.

Destroyed.

"What happened?"
