30the blue meadow

The wind hits my back as my hair gets pushed towards my face covering my veiw while I fall rapidly towards the ground.

Everything happens so quickly.

With my hair still covering my face I make out Eden flying down towards me and I extend my hand for him.

He ignores my hand and wraps his arms tight around my waist the exact moment before I touch the trees below.

I wrap my legs around his body and my arms around his next in comfort. "I said relax sweetheart." He says as I nuzzle my head into his neck, not wanting to let go. "You're missing the view."

I remove my face from my next and look down.

A captivating veiw of a meadow of multicolored flowers captures the veiw. The different hues of blue and purple sky surrounds us whole. The entire land is mesmerizing.

He flys down to the land, the flowers sway with the wind of Eden's strong wings.

I feel the flowers graze upon my skin before flys down to the grass and lands above me.

His large body hovers over me, radiating heat that makes my heart race even faster than it already is. His wings hand low on either side of our bodies along with his muscular arms, trapping me under him.

I run my hands down his shoulders to his arms, then up his face- tracing his jawline then cupping his cheeks.

His face hovers above mine while his gray eyes look at me intensely. I look down to his plump lips, so close to mine. "You almost killed me. Twice. In one."

He laughs, "no I didn't."

I sit up and he does the same, still remaining close and touching, still feeling his body heat and our legs intertwined. "I knew what I was doing."

"Sure you did." I catch my breath.

"I did! I said I got you, didn't I? And I said I promise, I promise I got you, we faes are honest. We keep our promises."

"Okay," I mumble while looking off to the blue meadow around us. "This meadow is beautiful."

"It is."

"How'd you know about this place?"

"Their's a enchantment light festival here every year."

"Oh, what for?"

"Just a celebration, not everything needs a reason you know."

"Mhm." I mumble.

"What's on your mind?" He ask, placing his hand under my chin and lifting my face up to meet his beautiful eyes. "Don't lie this time."

I sigh, bringing my hands to my face and rubbing in distress. "A lot."

"Like?"
