The day when Mew could return home has came. He was sitting on the bad, staring at the window. The weather was not good, it was raining and blowing. Mew thought it perfectly reflected his depressed mood. The doctors did a lot of tests and the diagnosis was clear - Mew lost his hearing. He could use some hearing aids that would help him recognize certain, stronger sounds, but he didn't want to. If he can't hear anything more, speech, music, his own voice, Gulf's voice, then what's for?

Gulf ... Thought Mew.

He appreciated his efforts and the fact that he continued to stand by him and support him. Not once did he let him feel that something had changed, that he was useless now. He tried to speak clearly enough so that Mew had no problem reading his lips. When Mew was tired of all this, Gulf just embraced him and stroked his back. It was his way of showing Mew that everything would be all right. But Mew knows it won't. How is he supposed to be still normal if he is not normal anymore?

Gulf entered the room and saw Mew sitting on the bed, with head bowed. He couldn't watch Mew getting more depressed day by day. And despite their relationship, Gulf couldn't reach him. He tried to show him that deafness is not terrible, that he is still normal and can do everything he has done so far.

He took a deep breath and smiled to improve Mew's mood. He turned on and off the light to let Mew know that he had already come.

"We are finally coming home." He said when Mew looked at him. "I'll pack your things and you go to change, okay?"

Mew just nodded and went to the bathroom. After a few minutes, he came out dressed in jeans, a black T-shirt and a blue sweatshirt. Gulf was also ready to go. In one hand he was holding a bag with Mew things, the other he stretched out towards the boy so that they could leave the room together. Mew grabed Gulf's hand, which was his source of energy and hope. He was afraid of what he would find outside the hospital walls. He wasn't ready to face reality. His condition was not disclosed to the media. It was only reported that he had a major surgery, but he is slowly recovering and taking a break from show business until he is able to return to work.

They went out the back exit, into the hospital's underground car park, to avoid paparazzi and fans, who found out from nowhere, that Mew was discharged today. A car and their managers were waiting for them there. The men smiled at him but didn't say anything, because they knew that Mew was getting nervous, if he couldn't understand what others were saying. He only allows Gulf to talk to him. Mew nodded a greeting and got into the car sadly.

The road was silent. Mew closed his eyes so he couldn't see his companions' compassionate sight. That's how it looked in his eyes. He thought that now everyone would pity him and treat him as someone incapable of a normal life. He couldn't be more wrong. The only thing others worried about was his mental state, not physical.

They stopped at the house of Mew and Gulf, where they had lived for over a year. Mew did not wait for others, quickly got out of the car and entered the building. He took off his shoes and locked himself in the room, before the others entered. Gulf looked worried at the closed door. He was sure that Mew locked them, so he would have to look for a spare key to call the boy for dinner. For now, he will give him some time alone. He needs peace now. He set the bag with things on the armchair in the living room and turned to the two men still standing at the entrance and unsure what to do next.

"Stay for dinner. We haven't eaten together for a long time." Gulf suggested.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" asked the Mew's manager.

"Mew must see that nothing has changed." said Gulf.

"Will he not be angry?" asked the uncertain Gulf's manager.

"He probably will be." Gulf sighed. "I'm afraid this will continue for a long time. We have to survive it." he smiled weakly.

"Very likely." agreed Mew's manager. "What will be for dinner?" asked happier after taking off his shoes and went on.

"Help you somehow?" asked Gulf's manager.

"We will make Mew's favorite dishes. Come to the kitchen."

All three went to prepare food. They splitted their work. Managers were peeling and cutting ingredients, and Gulf cooked and fried everything. No sound came from Mew's room.

The dinner was ready. Gulf decided to first inform Mew via sms. Entering the room with an spare key was a last resort.

"Mew's dinner is ready. Come eat before it cools down."

The men waited a while, but Mew did not come out. Gulf with fear opened the door. He saw Mew curled up on the bed. He held the phone in his hand and watched their joint performance with the song on one of the fanmeetings. Dried tears could be seen on his cheeks. Gulf walked over to him and touched his arm to get his attention. Mew looked at him with pained eyes. He didn't have to say anything. Gulf knew what he was thinking. Music was an important part of Mew's life, now he thinks he lost it, which is not true, he just has to find out. Gulf reached out, asking Mew, silently, to give him the phone and then turned off the movie.

"Let's go eat, ok? I made your favorite dishes." said Gulf, looking Mew in the eyes and wiping fresh tears running down his cheeks.

Mew shook his head as a sign that he did not want to eat.

"Mew, please, you have to eat. I tried my best cooking today." Gulf said and got out of bed, pulling Mew by the hand, like a little baby pulling hid mother's hand. "Come on." he was smiling.

Mew resigned and got up. How could he refuse when Gulf smiled so nicely at him. They entered the dining room together. At the sight of managers, Mew tensed. He thought he would be alone with his boyfriend, he could be himself with him. Gulf seeing that Mew's face tightened and feeling a stronger grip on his hand, gently stroked his shoulder, encouraging him.

"We haven't eaten together for a long time. Let's celebrate your return home together, okay?" he stared expectantly at the Mew until he nodded his agreement.

Everyone sat down at the table. Gulf knocked on the table, three pairs of eyes looked at him questioningly.

"Enjoy your meal!" He said looking at Mew.

It didn't explain them much, but Gulf knew what he was doing. They will learn everything slowly.
