(This is what I think should've happened a couple of days after Callum left)

"Ben!" Lola shouts "what?" Ben asks "it's your turn to look after Lexi tonight." Says Lola "I can't tonight sorry" says ben with a Blank expression on his face. "You can't keep doing this ben! Just because your hurting doesn't mean you have to hurt everyone else!" Lola says annoyed "who says I'm hurting?" Ben says "oh cut the bull shit you may be able to hide your feelings from everyone else but you can't hide them from me... Ben!" Says Lola "what do you want me to say?! That of course I miss him Lola but I had to break up with him to protect him and that I'm a bad person and he doesn't deserve a bad person!" Shouts ben "Ben you can talk to me I'm here for you" Lola says concerned. "Nope I am not having this conversation with you." Ben says as he storms out "ben! Ben come back!" Lola shouts but it was too late he was gone "hey jay it's me ben stormed off and I'm worried he's going to do something stupid." Lola says into the phone "I'll find him." Jay says back. Without even realising it ben ends up in the Albert "whiskey" Ben says as he pays for it he opens it and drinks 5 gulps of it. "Ben" said a voice. He recognised it immediately it was his best friend jay "Lola called me and she told me how you bailed on looking after Lexi again tonight." Said jay "of course she did" ben says sarcastically "she was worried about you mate" jay said as he sat next to Ben. "Well I don't need her to worry about me I'm fine you both are acting as if my whole world has stopped just because I broke up with someone." Said ben taking another sip of his drink "well it would if that someone was your world and Callum was yours for a while anyway." Said jay "your point?" Asked Ben "you miss him and I know for a fact he misses you too" jay says smiling. "How could you possibly know that?" Ben asked confused "he called me yesterday told me how he was and he asked about you and he said that he would've asked you himself but you don't answer when he does." Jay replies "it's too painful to answer and if I do answer it, it will give him hope, hope that we'll get back together." Said Ben slowly "would that be such a bad thing?" Jay asks "yes it would. He's too pure for my world and I don't want to be the one who ruins his beautiful kind heart and turns it into something ugly. I don't deserve him." Ben says back "do you remember that day in the vic where  Callum's dad showed up but before that you and Callum had that conversation" jay said "yeah I do why?" Ben asks "remember what he said?" " I decide who I deserve" said jay "so?" Asked Ben "he knew what he was getting himself into... he wanted you... all of you the good and the bad!" Replied jay "you think I don't know that? The worst thing about all of this is what I said to him." Said ben with a sad look on his face "what exactly did you say to him?" Asked jay "I told him I didn't love him when that wasn't the case at all I do love him so so much and when you love someone you have to do what's best for them no matter the cost and how much it may hurt you." Said ben
