Chapter 8: Healing

CATRA VIEW

Catra sat there, her hand clasped to Adoras, she just stared at her, she had gotten no sleep at all since they had found Adora. She was just getting too worried, she couldn't fall asleep. And whenever she did, she had nightmares about Adora. Her eyes were strained, she had bags under them, and her eyelids grew heavy, so heavy to a point where she was having trouble staying awake. She had closed her eyes for just a couple seconds when she heard a gasp, her head snapped up and she saw Adora sitting up, gasping, then she clutched her stomach groaning.

"Adora! Your awake!" Catra said, standing up abruptly, she flung her arms around Adora squeezing her in a fierce hug.

"Aghhh!" Adora yelled out, slamming her eyes closed and pulled her head down clutching her stomach. She opened her eyes and gently pulled her shirt up a little, showing a massive dark purple bruise. She let go if her shirt, allowing it to fall down. She looked at catra, giving her a small smile, before she fell back down on the bed, unconscious. Catra sat back down in the chair, and fell asleep, knowing that Adora would be ok.

9 HOURS LATER

Catra awoke to the creaking of a door, she looked at the bedroom door and saw a shadowy figure,

"Adora?" she called out, getting up and walking towards the person.

"Morning catra." Adora greeted, turning to look at her. Catra just looked at her.

"Are you ok?" she asked, eyeing Adora to see if she was lying.

"Yeah, I just got a couple broken ribs I think, then obviously my arm." she said, gesturing to her arm. Catra went up to adora holding both her hands and kissed her deeply. She pulled away, sighing.

"Come on, lay back down, I'll go get some food for you. Bow said you need to rest for a few days, so no leaving this bed ok?" she explained sternly.

"Catra! But-!" she started
"No! No buts, I'm serious Adora, I was really scared ok? Now please, just stay in bed for a couple of days and then you can go back to fighting." she said, interrupting her.

"fine..." Adora said sadly. Catra gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before leaving to get some food.

ADORA VIEW

Adora was bored out of her mind, it was impossible to stay in bed for a few days. She liked fighting. Almost as much as she loves Catra, she found it cute that Catra cared so much, but she couldn't stay in bed for long unless she was asleep.

"Hey I'm back. I got you some tea, and I got your favorite. Grey ration bars." she giggled to herself before saying, "I'm just kidding, I got you some of glimmers leftovers from last night." she placed the food tray down and sat on the chair beside the bed, and sighed.

I am so sorry guys, I keep on forgetting about this whole fic. I am really trying my hardest right now. But who doesn't enjoy some cute catra playing scared nurse?
"Do you need to be nursed tenderly back to health?!" - Scorpia. I absolutely love how bubbly Scorpia is. Anyways I'm just going to say it. It will probably be a while till a new chapter comes out, again I'm sorry. If I do end up giving up on this fanfic, then I will let you know, however that being said I am going to try to keep this going. I have good plans!
