"Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you~"

Since that moment with him in the music room, that song kept on haunting me everyday. I tried to shrug it off of my head but I can still hear his voice ringing my ears.

Until one day, he asked me to meet him in the old library. There were a lot of tall shelves and I can't find even a single trace of him. I continued walking until I reached the end corner but he wasn't there either. When I turned my heels around, there I saw him standing on the opposite corner wearing that cute smile again.

I lowered my gaze and what caught my attention was the green rose on his left hand. My feet were glued to the ground, making me unable to move. He started walking towards me.

"Hey, you came." Mirth was too evident in his voice. He then handed out the thing that he was holding but I just stared at it, "I tried searching for a green rose but to no avail. Instead, I bought a white rose then I decided to paint it green. Isn't it your favorite color?"

That definitely left me dumbfounded. I didn't know what to respond in this unexpected situation.

"W-why are you doing this?"

"Luna, I love you."

The moment he said those words felt like he suddenly dropped a ticking bomb which made me tremble.

The next thing I knew, I was already running away from him.

He confessed his love.

I can't... I just can't reciprocate that same intensity of love towards him because I'm still into Keenan. It's foolishness, I know.

The next day, he was nowhere to be seen. It's not that I was looking for him or what. I just noticed his absence. After he steered my heart away yesterday, he probably has no guts to face me.

I thought he wouldn't appear in front of me again, but I was wrong when he showed up a few days later.

He was wearing a black long sleeves which was so unusual of him. It was as if he was afraid to expose his skin to the sunlight and to everybody.

"Hey, Luna! I went to the cliff last night hoping to see you but you weren't there. I should have asked you to come but I hesitated thinking that you might not want to see me again," our eyes met then I noticed the dark circles around his eyes.

"Were you at the cliff the whole time you were missing here at school?" I asked.

"Why? Did you miss me already?"

"Tss."

"Did I hear it right? Did you just say 'yes'? Awww, I missed you too!"

"Stop it."

I frowned upon him but he still had that teasing look on his face.

Months passed...

I dumped Klauss for so many times already but he was still here and kept on pursuing me.

I was in a coffee shop while reviewing my notes for our upcoming exam when he grabbed the seat in front of me out of the blue.

"Klauss, please... Just give up already. You're just wasting your time on me," I took a sip of black coffee not giving him even a single glance.

"Do you still remember that night we met at the cliff? Actually, that wasn't our first meeting. We met for several times before but you probably didn't see me since you always avoid staring at people..." he took a deep breath and spoke once more, "I love you, Luna. I'm madly in love with you," he held my hand when he said those words and I saw that sincerity shrouding in his eyes.

"I love everything about you, even your coldness. Just give me one chance. Please?" He pleaded.

"Thanks. I love myself too." With that, I slowly released my hand from his grasp and did the thing that I always do —walking out.

I'm sorry Klauss. I cannot give what you were asking.

It wasn't because of Keenan this time. It was because of my parents and myself —because I'm not yet ready to love. I cannot love him fully if I'm still broken. I had to collect my shattered pieces first that Keenan had left me. Just give me enough time to recover.
