Days went by and I started noticing that there was no more Klauss roaming around the campus.

Every night I go to that cliff hoping that he would be there too but to no avail. He was nowhere to be found.

I locked myself inside my room for almost two days without talking to anybody.

After school, I just followed my feet going back home —but it led me the other way around.

The sun had set and darkness totally consumed the sky. I saw empty cans of beer carelessly lying on this cliff.

Was he here last night?

Klauss...

A moment later, the voice that I'm longing for so long suddenly appeared.

"Luna."

I looked back to see him. My heart smiled widely when I heard him mention my name. Small tears formed in my eyes.

"You're stupid, and I'm a fool to love a stupid guy like you!"

"I'm sorry, Luna."

"I'm telling you that... I'm already in love with you. Don't make me repeat myself," I felt my cheeks burning probably because I was a bit shy due to sudden confession or maybe I was blushing.

"I-I'm sorry, Luna..."

He was confusing me.

"Why do you keep on saying sorry? You did nothing wrong."

"I love someone else," it felt like my whole world suddenly collapsed.

"You told me before that you love me the most. Then why are you doing this to me now? Is that how easy for you to replace me? Is this your revenge?"

I saw him exploding with so much frustrations.

"Where were you when I needed you the most?! Where were you when I needed a shoulder to cry on? Where were you when I was so down? Where were you when I tried to kill myself? Where were you when I needed your love?!"

He immediately wiped the tears from his face, "I love you but for once, you never made me feel loved at all. You weren't there, Luna. Felizzia was there with me instead of you. She loves me and I have to love her back because I know the feeling of not being loved in return."

I turned my back on him and sat on the ground because if I won't, my legs were too weak and I'm afraid I might collapse anytime.

"If that's what you want, then so be it," I replied with stern voice.

"You're too cold to feel my warmth, Luna."

I looked back at him.
"But Klauss I—"

"I'm sorry Luna. I'm also a human who gets tired too. I'm done with you."

I was about to say "I love you" if only he did not start to walk away from me. It hurts. It too damn hurts. Though it didn't mean that I have to cry because I couldn't afford to shed a tear anymore.

I deserve this.

I wasn't able to realize his worth right from the start.

We ended everything where it all started. From strangers back to strangers again. Perhaps, this is the art of letting go...
