John stared at her. "Of course not" he exploded "as far as I knew before today he'd never had a girlfriend. A PROPER girlfriend". His thoughts drifted to the awkward run in with Jeanine a couple of years before.
"I think you should go round there. We can pull out the couch and sleep there for a couple of nights. He needs someone there. She's only young he's going to need some support."
