The Knight And The Prince (2doc au)

-Beginning-

Once upon a time...

There was a castle connected to a small village.

In the village, there was a man, soon to have the opportunity of a life time, and in the castle, a prince, not knowing what will soon come to him.

-in the village-

In a small shop full of antiques, one man sitting at the counter, slowly falling asleep.

"Wake up boy!" Sebastian yells at Murdoc as he hits him with his cane

"OW! What was that for??? We never get any customers anymore, what's the point??" Murdoc yelled back as he sits up

"Well, you never know, we might get some random customer like, I don't know, the king" Sebastian said in a clever like tone

"King Russle? I doubt he'd ever step foot in this rubbish antique shop." Murdoc said

Sebastian just rolled his eyes as he walked away towards the staircase.

The door busted open before he could take a step on the stairs.

They both turned to look at the door

Hanging onto the doorframe, of breath was Hannibal.

"Their coming!!!" Hannibal whisper yelled as he ran to the back of the shop.

"Who?" Murdoc and Sebastian said in unison

"THE KING!!!" Hannibal yelled as he grabbed a nice coat to put on.

Both men were wide eyed, then quickly scrambled to make everything look nice and decent for his majesty.

Once they thought they looked nice and the shop looked decent, the three men shuffled to the front of the store.

Soon a royal announcer walked into the shop

"From the castle, the king comes down in requests of a new knight. He needs a brave young man who is strong and worthy enough to protect the prince and princess. He asks if you, sir Sebastian Niccals, have any volunteers?" The announcer asked as he stepped to the side to let someone into the shop.

King Russel entered

"Um, thank you, you didn't need to say all that but.. um yes. I am in need of a new knight, some unfortunate events happened recently and we need a few volunteers." King Russel said politely

A smirk grew on Sebastiana face

He pushed Murdoc towards the king.

"My boy, Murdoc will be perfect for the job!" Sebastian said with pride

"What?? Why are you- we did not talk this out!" Murdoc yelled

"Oh well you don't really do anything here, so why not?" Sebastian said with a smug grin on his face.

Murdoc looked at him in disgust

He turned and faced the king and contemplated his decision

"Alright, I'll volunteer..." Murdoc said

"Thank you, I hope it's not too much of a bother, I did notice a small family argument" Russle said

"No it's fine, I think it'll be better if I went anyways." Murdoc said

"Great! Round up the carriage." Russel said as he exited the shop

"Thank you, once again" he yelled from outside

Russel got into the carriage and waved for Murdoc to join him.

Murdoc hesitated, but soon got in.

The carriage rode off to the castle

"Why did you give away Murdoc like that?" Hannibal asked

"Oh please, he's an annoying little piece of shit. It'll give him  something to do, that might even kill him in the process." Sebastian replied as he did an evil chuckle

Hannibal just shrugged and went about his duties

-at the castle-

In a room far atop the castle, looking out an open window sat a beautiful blue haired prince.

He just gazed out at the sky in wonder.

A blue bird flew over to him and sat down on the window sill.

He chuckled

"Ello...wot yew doin this fine evenin?" Stuart said as he put out his finger

The bird climbed onto his finger and tweeted a little tune.

Stuart chuckled again and sang along with the bird.

"I swear stuart, sometimes I feel like we got switched up and you were supposed to be the princess." Noodle laughed as she walked towards Stuart

"Heh, maybe." He said as he let the bird go

"So, I heard we're gonna get a whole new set of princes and princesses to choose from to marry." Noodle said as she plopped down onto her bed in frustration

"Ugh, don't remind me." Stu said as he looked out the window again

"I don't want to get forced into marrying some random stuck up princess who only cares about herself...no offense." Stuart said

"None taken.... I honestly don't care if I get married, as long as I'm able to do what I love, and he isn't annoying, I'm good" noodle said

"It's just stupid...father says it's our duty and we have no choice." Stuart said in a mocking tone

"Heh you said dooty" noodle said

Stuart chuckled

"I just want to find that special someone..." Stuart said sadly

Noodle noticed his sad tone and went towards him

"Hey...I have a feeling you will get that special someone." Noodle said with a smile as she hugged him

"Fanks noods" Stuart said as he hugged back

-the entrance of the castle-

"Now Murdoc, we will give  you a room, we will give you meals and a very generous pay. All we want you to do is to...basically watch over my son and daughter." King Russle said

"That's perfectly fine with me..." Murodc said

"Great...we'll get you set up with everything you need. And just so you know, later today we are going to have a prince and a princess from other kingdoms to come and see if there's any chemistry and what not, so I just want you to watch over the two while I work things out with the king and Queen." Russel said trying to explain as much as he could

"Alright sir, I'll do whatever you need me to do." Murdoc said obeyingly 

"Perfect...one more question...do you have any combat training?" Russel asked very worried

"I do actually, my father put me in training to get me out of the house, so I'm not useless" Murdoc said with a chuckle at the end

"Oh thank heavens, I'm glad we discussed that. Now I have to go attend to my duties. You go and get prepared and we'll..see how this day goes" Russel said nervously as he walked away.

Murdoc was led to his own room, and was shown around the castle.

He went to the armory to get his things and got suited up and ready for whatever his duty was going to be.

I'm gonna end it here for now

I did this in a kind of rush because I needed to get my idea out. I hope you guys liked this so far, I actually am really excited for this. I surprised myself when I came up with this. I don't know if people have done this au before but I don't care. Soooooo yeah, i will post the next chapter soon!
