Kat's POV
I heard the whole convo between Connor and his dad.
"H-he thinks I'm a-a slut?" I studdered.
"He's probably drunk or something... I'm sure he didn't mean it." He said, trying to calm me down.
"Yes he does....I'm ripping you and your family apart..." I took a couple steps back.
"Babe, no your not." He said taking a couple steps closer to me.
"D-don't... stop... "
"Please listen to me.... You aren't ripping me away from my family... You know how I know that?"
"H-how?"
"Because my family is right here." He held my hands, firmly yet sofly.
"I-I can't rip you a-away from your family.. Please ju-just stop."
"You and this baby is my family... and I'm not going to leave you guys.... I can't and I won't."
"But what about your family in Minnesota?"
"They have survived with me here, for more than 2 years, I'm sure they can survive longer."
I sighed.
He pulled me into a hug, and I cried into his chest. He rubbed my back and whispered things into my ear to calm me down.
"Are you sure your okay being here? You do know you can go home right?" I said.
He moved my head upright so I was looking at him.
"My home is where ever you and our baby girl is."
I smiled slightly, and said, "Let's go sleep..."
"Okay babe." he said, and picked me up, bridal style.
I giggled slightly and laid my head on his chest. He carried me upstiars and laid me in bed. He covered me with a blanket and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes, as Connor climbed into bed, next to me.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close to him. "I love you." he whispered into my ear.
"I love you too....." I said.
In a couple of seconds, I heard slight snoring. I turned my head and looked at Connor, who was asleep.
Once I knew Connor was asleep....I wiggled out of his arms, and got out of bed.
I put on some sweatpants and a sweatshirt and quickly wrote a note for Connor to read, once he wakes up, and set it by the table beside his bed.
I grabbed a backpack, with some food and clothes in it.
I gave Connor a kiss on the forehead, and I left the house.
