Connor's POV

I woke up and the sun blinded my eyes.

I groaned and rubbed my eyes.

I looked at Kat's side of the bed, and didn't see her there.

"Kat?" I asked, hoping she would answer.

I waited for a responce, but there was nothing.

Maybe she's downstairs.

I rubbed my eyes and looked to my left to grab my phone.

Before I grabbed my phone, I saw a blank white card, next to my phone. All it said on the cover was, Read Me

I sat up and picked up the card.

I opened it up and saw that it was a long note. I started to read it.

Dear Connor,

I love you a lot and you know that. I couldn't tell you this in person because I know I would never have the guts... Please forgive me for breaking the promise... I promised myself that I would do anything for you to be happy. For me to keep that promise, I have to break the one I made with you. I could see the sadness in your eyes, after that phone call.... And babe, I'm so sorry for having to do this, but I need you to forget about me... I need you to move on and go live with your family.. I will take care of this baby, and I'll tell her everything about you, and I'm sure she'll love you as much as I do. I love you so much..... Please forgive me for ripping you apart from your family... -Kat

I cried. She left me.... She really left me.....

I grabbed my phone and called Kat. It immediately went to voicemail.

I panicked.....

I thought about the places she would go to....

And then it hit me..... She always go to the park when she's sad.

I quickly threw on a shirt and some shorts and grabbed my phone and my keys.

I ran to my car and drove to the park. Once I got there, I parked my car and ran to the park.

I looked around.

Where would she be?

I looked towards the fountain, and saw someone sitting on the bench, with a backpack next to them... that looked familar.
