Same procedures every morning. Dad never bothered to buy me an alarm clock because he said that what will be the use of it if he is there to wake me up unexpectedly. Does he have money issues for him to be so stingy?

I looked outside, as always, hovercrafts flying. The engineered animals who are freely living outside. The sun in the sky that seems to always penetrate our skin with its rays. I learned that many years ago, the ozone layer is completely diminished. Leaving us unprotected. Then, I heard in the news that years after the ozone, they made a layer that covers Earth like Ozone. The science is, our pollution can pass through but the rays can't. It is like a one way road. They called it Ozone 2.

So, while I'm waiting for the Sky Bus...

"Max..." I turned around and looked from whom did that voice came from. Surprisingly, it was Dad and Mom.

"Yeah? " I asked with an expression of in between of curiosity and hastiness since the bus may be here any minute.

"Today is solo battles. Later you will face different opponents. We just want to wish you good luck and do your best. Reaching your dreams will be easy if you will give your best at everything." Dad tol me. In the first place, I am inspired by his role in our community or planet I guess. I want to be the best superhero one day. I can be a normal person if I wanted to. I'll just move to either sections of the country and try to have a normal life. But,I want to feel what it feels to save others from harm by bringing out the best in me.

"Just know that always put your feet on the ground. " they never fail to say that to me every now and then.

"Thanks Mom, Thanks Dad. " I embraced them, even it looks so not for my age. I thought--So what! I love them. And that's what matters.

I remembered that I can fly now. So I don't need to ride the sky bus right? I don't have anyone to talk to there. So why bother?

I levitated from the ground. Waved back at Mom and Dad. Dad tried to shoot me with some bolts. I used some shield to reflect it away. "Don't be such a smug. " said Dad. We smiled. After that I flew away from them and inwards the skies.

Celestial Academy is not visible from the ground to its high altitude. Also, at the top, you can't also see Lunasolatopia.

While I'm flying upwards, I touched the puffy clouds. Thinking what if I get chosen for later? What if I need to battle someone who is stronger than me?

Someone's voice is talking to me. "Max, you don't fight to win. You fight because you want to bring out the best in you. And it isn't fighting. It is training. " I know her. It's Mom again. She is using some brain technique I don't even know.

She's right. She always is. Mothers do always know best. Even if I lose later. I don't care. As long as I know I gave my best. That's how to raise one's confidence!

I stepped on the grounds of Cells. The short term for our academy. I heard it from the Seniors yesterday. They made it funny because they call schooling an imprisonment. So they come up with the word Cells. The whole school is using the term. Might as well be in.

As I am aloft thinking, I merely realized that I have bumped Magenta. She's my age, but she is in Omega Cluster. Bitchy, always angry, competitive, and famous are words synonymous to Magenta.
