Angaline stared a across the table watching as her son continued to eat as much as he possibly could fit in his mouth, rushing to get away from the person who shipped away his little sister.

"Slow down before yo-" the sentence is proven unnecessary as he begins to choke on the mashed potatoes in his mouth.

"I'm not hungry anymore, i think I'll go to bed."

She sighs and collects the dishes from the round dining table moving them to the sink full of soapy water.

The bubbles form a protective shield around the plates washing away the grime and little bits of stuck food.

Angaline groans and places them in the dish rack to dry.

She grabs the tea towel and dries her hands swiftly manoeuvring around her messy living room heading for the front door.

The darkness immediately seems to thicken as the woman exits the safety of her home.

A man hidden amongst the trees surrounding the small modern home silently drops hiding behind a vehicle.

Angaline pauses looking around chills creeping down her spine.

The feeling of fear quickly goes away as she inserts her key in the small key hole, "come on..." a loud whoosh brushes past the woman.

It seemed all to familiar - the setting and situation.

A gasp parts her lips as a heavy something makes contact with the right side of her body smacking Angaline onto the wet road.

"Who's there?" She questions loudly gripping the car handle to pull herself back onto her feet.

A large rock passes her face and crashes through the glass window small shards embedding themselves in her flash, drawing small amounts of blood.

She yells out in pain and pulls a piece of glass from her thigh breaking off into a sprint away from her home - drawing him away from Danny.

His laughter was haunting and emotionless - he was taunting the blue eyed beauty.

"Someone please help me!" She screams trying to wake up her neighbours or anyone for the matter.

Her leg was beginning to turn numb and she was dragging it behind her leaving a trail of blood behind her.

It was no use - her fate was decided. She was going to die tonight.

He latches onto her arm leaning in closely smirking proudly, "you seriously didn't think you could get away?"

Angaline gulps nervously tears darkening the light in her eyes, "you're a monster."

His fangs unmercifully tear at the base of her neck breaking through the flesh and drawing large amounts of blood, enough to immobilise the mother.

The man ignoring her small gasps of pain and the sound of her heartbeat slowing down.

He drops the body of his latest victim sparing no tears or apology for he's vile act getting away quickly into the darkness of the night.

Angaline stares up at the moon, a tear rolling down her face as she feels herself weaken greatly.

It wouldn't be long now until the vision would prove to be true.

The life in her eyes disappears quickly as the last drop of blood from her body stains the grey pavement below her.

It was time.

Her eyes flutter closed and her heart ceases all beating - stopping the life that once flourished through the woman.

Angaline's once red cheeks were now pale and lifeless, her hair stained with her own blood.

A faint purple bruise lingering around the base of her wrist.

In the morning, her neighbours would emerge from their homes and find her body on the sidewalk cold and bloody.

The actions of a monster irreversible and two kids left without their mother.

Some will say the thought of her death was unseen but one person will be forced to disagree even if it costs her everything.
