Hospital Duties

***Royalty's P.O.V***

My eyes scrunched at the bright light seeping through my eyelids, the over powering stench of bleach and medicine invading my nostrils. Sitting up, I groan in pain as a shooting pain goes through my head. Lifting my hand up to hold my head I feel a bandage. 

What the hell happened?

The door opens and I look to my left to see a nurse walk in with a tray.

"Ms. Evergarden, you're finally awake.", she smiles setting the tray down and handing me 2 pills and some water.

I take them and the water feels like sweet relief to my dry throat. I look around the mainly plain room. Only a few flowers and get well soon balloons adorned a small corner of the room yet I still couldn't seem to quite remember why the hell I was in the hospital.

The last thing I remeber was shots with Laila and Neveah.

"What happened? Why am I here", I asked the nurse.

She smiled, "Let me go get the doctor and he'll explain everything to you".

I nodded and laid my head back. The pounding seemed to have eased so I guess the pills I took were pain killers.

There was a small bag next to my bed and it made me wonder how long I was here for.

"Ah Royalty,  I see we've finally arisen", the doctor smiles entering.

I sit up in bed and smile nervously at him.

"Was I out that long?"

He chuckles before replying, "You've been out for 2 weeks actually. Tell me what's the last thing you remeber?", he says checking my vitals.

2 weeks?

I stared at him before replying, " I dont really remember much, last thing I remember clearly is me and my friends at the club taking shots, everything else feels like a blur.", I say to him.

He hums before responding, " Well you were from the reports Attacked in the girls bathroom and you hit your head pretty hard and had a mild concussion so that would account for loss of memory  but with rest you should recover quite fine", he said handing me a prescription.

I smiled in thanks, "So that means I can leave?"

"Very eager are we? But I just have to run a few more tests to ensure everything is fine  and then you can sign the paperwork and you'll be out of here in no time.", he replies leaving.

I sigh as the nurse tidies up a few things around my room and sigh.

I felt as though I were forgetting something, something so important.

"Royalty!"

I jump at my name and look to see a more than overjoyed Neveah coming towards me.

"Veah", I say hugging her.

"You had me so worried you whore", she cried.

I smiled sadly.

"You had us all worried, even Laila", she said holding my hand.

"What even happened?", I asked.

She looks at me indifferently.  "They said you were drugged. Really bad. They had to flush your entire system so putting you in a drug induced coma was the fastest way to do so. After Laila left the restroom she said you were with someone, do you remember who it was?".

I looked at her in shock, wracking my brain. Something in me was telling me there was an important detail I was missing.

I'm pretty sure Laila was the last person I saw. But was she?
