-Calum's POV-

"Twat!"

"Idiot!"

"Motherfu-"

"Boys!" I called up the stairs "Language!"

"Sorry" the replied in sync

Sadly they were turning into grumpy teenagers. I missed the days when I caught them asleep in the same bed because one of them had a nightmare. Could never imagine them doing that now.

"Dad! Look- Ouch!" I heard Annie soft footsteps then a crash

I turned the corner to see her on the floor with tears in her eyes.

"Aww honey" I scooped her up "What hurts?"

She stuck her tongue out "I bit my tongue"

"It's alright it's not bleeding" I reassured her rubbing her back "Did you not see the wall?"

She frowned and shook her head "Anyway dad look! My tooth fell out-" she opened up her little fist "Where'd it go?"

"Annie it's there in your hand" I held it up for her

"Oh yeah I see it now!" she giggled

I put her on the floor "Go put it under your pillow and come back down yeah?" I set her on the floor and she ran off

I got a piece of paper out and wrote some numbers on it.

"Back!" She skipped into the room

"Luke c'mere for a minute" I called for my husband and he walked in

I stood a few steps away from Annie "Say these numbers for me yeah?" And she nodded

"Ten, twenty six, seventy two" I slowly crept closer to her

"Forty nine, sixty six... I mean sixty nine? I think. A hundred and is that a two?" she blinked rapidly squinting

"Luke I think she needs glasses" I told him

"What really?" he asked confused and I nodded

"She ran into a wall then she couldn't see the tooth that she was holding and now she can't read the numbers" I frowned

"No!" Annie protested "I can't have glasses! I have no friends already and everyone will think I'm a freak!" she ran off crying

Luke went to go after her but I stopped him "Leave her for a bit yeah?"

He sighed and nodded "I just feel really bad. Like the boys find it so easy but she just can't seem to make any friends"

"I know" I kissed him "But she will do some day"

-----

"Why do I have to come?" Hunter whined as they all got in the car

"Afraid to say Hunter that I prefer to not leave you alone" I rolled my eyes

"You were gonna invite Rylie round weren't you" Hayden teased him but an elbow in the stomach from his brother shut him up

"No! I'm not getting glasses" Annie yelled as she clung onto the doorframe with Luke tugging on her feet

"C'mon it's not that bad" he reassured her

"Don't make me go!" she shrieked

I took me, Luke, Hunter and Hayden to detach her from the house in the end. Then when we got in the car, I had to put the child lock on because she kept trying to jump out.

"We're here!" I cheered, exhaustedly.

"You can't make me go inside" Annie huffed folding her arms

"Oh we can" Hayden smirked

"Put. Me. Down!" she screamed

Hunter had her ankles and Hayden her arms as they carried her into the building. Luke and I walked up to the desk calmly while our children were screaming and kicking in the background.

"Appointment for Hoodings?" Luke smiled innocently

The lady looked behind us worriedly and slowly nodded "Yes please take a seat"

A few minutes later were called in.

"No no no no!" Annie was still struggling in my grip as I carried her and tried to calmly walk into the room.

I dropped her into the chair and held her back as she tried to run again. Luke talked to the doctor and the twins stood by the door like bodyguards.

-----

Half an hour later we finally left the room. Annie had tear stained cheeks and glasses and Hunter was limping as she had kicked him where the sun don't shine.

Other people in the waiting room looked scared of us.

"See you in six months?" the lady at the desk asked me

"Gladly" I said through gritted teeth
