I'll Give It My All

Izuku was incredibly nervous, as his turn came. The first event was the 50-meter dash. He was going to be doing it with Kacchan, who stood besides him. Izuku had moved into a running positon, while Kacchan seemed to be preparing to use his quirk, in order to launch himself forward. Izuku wasn't all to surprised by that, Kacchan had often done that during middle school to catch up to Izuku, back before he started homeschooling.

Izuku couldn't really find a way to use his abilities in this, but that was okay. He was decently fast, he had to be in order to escape his bullies.

Izuku started running as fast as he could the second they were told to start, while Kacchan blasted himself forward, giving him an advantage over the green boy.

Kacchan crossed the finish line first, only taking 3.4 seconds. Izuku came soon after, getting 5.3 seconds. (I think that seems reasonable..)

He definitly could've done better, but there were a few with scores lowers than his.

Next was the standing long jump. Izuku had clumped up some of his body mass near his feet, causing for his feet to be extra bouncy. He got in about 7 meters before he landed. Not too bad.

For the side to side stepping, he pulled a simmilar trick, getting in 57 steps before time ran out.

During the grip strength, he changed his hand into a blob, giving it more mass, and adding to his grip strength. He got 30 kilograms.

In the upper body training, they had to do sit ups. Izuku managed to get in 40.

During the seated toe touch, Izuku had practically folded his body in half like paper, getting the top score. "How'd you do that, Midoriya-kun? Do you even have bones?" Uraraka remarked.

In the endurance run, Izuku had lasted for 15 whole minutes before tiring. How? He had alot of endurance due to escaping from bullies.

Lastly was the softball throw. By streching his arm out, he had managed to fling the ball 402.4 meters. It felt wimpy compared to Bakugou's throw.

Izuku had landed an overall 17th place. The person in last place was a grape headed kid named Minoru Mineta, but Aizawa said "Oh, by the way, it was a logical ruse, to make you all do your best"

The rest of the classes went by in a blur, not near as intresting as they knew hero classes would be. Izuku wasn't to happy to sit behind Kacchan, but he couldn't do much about it. Besides, it wasn't like Kacchan recognized him!

He was sure that eventually, the blond would realize who he was, though. That worried him. If Kacchan found out, then Izuku would have to reveal that his "quirk" only existed due to him injecting himself with chemicals. He didn't want that. Then he'd be judged by everyone...

He shook his head, dissmissing the thoughts. It didn't matter, he had friends now!! Well, he's not sure if they were friends, he wasn't sure what friends were like. The closest he had to a freind was Kacchan, but that was back before he had been diagnosed as quirkless.

Finally, it was time for Fundemental Heroics class. Meaning they'd be getting to learn to become heroes.

The whole of class 1-A was extremely excited for the class.

All Might rushed through the door, yelling "I AM HERE, COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A HERO!!!!"

Izuku cringed, while everyone else cheered at the sight of the hero. Izuku knew well that if things were a bit different, he would have been cheering too, but thinking about what ifs like that wouldn't do him any good.

"Today, we are doing Battle Training!!!" All Might announced. Some of the students cheered, saying how fun it'd be, while a few of them, such as Izuku, wished it was anything else.

Suddenly, multiple shelves filled with cases came out of the wall, each numbered up to 20. All Might said, "Now, before we begin, everyone change into your costumes!! And then, meet me in Ground Beta!!"

The group cheered once more, and everyone went rushing to get their costume cases.

After the crowd had dispersed, Izuku went over to the shelves, carefully grabbing the case number 18. He then followed everyone else to the changing room.

Hopefully this won't be too bad...
