It was an age of Darkness for Hrothgar, King of the Danes for he and his people terrorized a monastery creature that can only be described as a Fiend outta Hell and not even weapons made by man can not kill it Grendel.
For 12 winters this descendant of Cain attacked the royal hall killing the warriors and then turning its wrath on innocent citizens and all of Hrothgar's men had failed him. But then one day a great warrior came to the lands of the Danes from Geatland, a warrior named Beowulf who vow to kill Grendel to earn the undying glory. He came to Daneland to find a clash with Grendel in the royal hall fighting the beast with nothing but his bare hands and using his superhuman strength. Beowulf rips Grendel's arm off his body and the monster flees into the night and dies from his wound. But then Grendel's Mother vows revenge so Beowulf hunts her down diving into the Lake of Monsters and cuts off both Grendel and his mother's heads with a sword made by giants.
With Daneland now safe Beowulf returned to Geatland and became their King there he took a wife whose name has been lost to history bare him a son before death took her Beowulf to rule the Kingdom of Geatland peaceful until The Dragon came and shattered the peace. Now Beowulf with one last monster to fight, he fights the Dragon in its cave full of treasure. Both Beowulf and Wiglaf kill the Dragon but Beowulf is mortally wounded but the worst has yet to come as the Svears invades Geatland and Beowulf almost near death fighting the Svears with Bjorn his son but they were outmatched.
"Bjorn!" Beowulf cried out to his son and Bjorn who heard his father's cry and rushed to him.
"Father," Said Bjorn as Beowulf look upon his sixteen-year-old son and he spoke
"Bjorn you must leave Geatland we can not win this fight and I am mortally wounded by my fight with the dragon you must head to Auradon and seek out King Adam."
Bjorn looked at his father "Yes father I will come back with an army and drive the Svears from our lands and we will be free again." Beowulf looks at his son and put his hand on his right shoulder and said " Take care of our people and make me proud my son " and with that Beowulf dies with Bjorn putting his father's sword on his body and Yells out "I Will Free our People and I shall have Vengeance." and he reaches for a boat and took sail for Auradon.
(In Auradon)
Inside the castle of Auradon, Prince Ben was having his fitting for his coronation to become king. He stares out the window, thinking about how the children of the Isle were living here and that maybe they could use a second chance. Ben's parents, Belle and Beast come in to check on him. Now is his chance to share with his parents his idea. "Mom, Dad, I've chosen my first official proclamation. I've decided that the children on the Isle of the Lost be given a chance to
live here in Auradon." he spoke determined.
Belle and Beast were shocked at their sons' idea to let villain kids into Auradon. "Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned," Ben explained.
Ben's father wasn't sure about this, I mean, the children of their sworn enemies, living among them. Ben told his parents that they'll start with five first, the ones who need their help the most. Ben had already chosen them "Who are their parents?" Belle asked.
"Cruella de Vil, Jafar, Evil Queen, Beowulf, and Maleficent." Ben listed.
Lumiair screamed in fear, everyone knew Maleficent is the worst villain in the land.
"Maleficent!" The Beast yells out, "She is the worst villain in the land!"
"Dad, just hear me out here..." Ben said before his father interrupted him "I won't hear it besides Beowulf they are guilty of unspeakable crimes!"
"But Dad, their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life?" Ben asked.
Beast looked at Belle who was giving him a look to at least trust their son. And so, Beast allowed Ben to bring the five kids from the Isle. Belle and Beast left the room while Ben stared out at the window, looking at the Isle of the Lost. He also thought about Beowulf's kid, he needed a translator and he knew just the person to help.
"Prince Ben, you need to see me? " Ben turns to see Isa, the daughter of Merida, and Hiccup one of his closest friends.
" Yes, Isa as you heard I have chosen five kids from the Isle of the Lost to be given a chance to live here in Auradon, well one of the kids is the son of Beowulf and he can't speak our language he speaks Geatish," said Ben.
Isa soon spoke up "And you want me to be his translator since I speak Geatish?"
"Yes my friend," said Ben
Isa spoke again "Very well I will do it and if you will excuse me I have to get back to archery practice."
"Yes," Ben said as Isa nodded and took her leave while Ben looked at his ring then out the window at the Isle.
