Chapter 7: Family Day

Bjorn's pov

Today was Family Day and I was wearing my best armor with my weapons at hand and I left the dorm. Today is also where I get to meet Isa's family. I saw the VK's looking out from the balcony and I joined them as the heroes' kids were singing 'Be Our Guest' for the parents. We soon walk around the festival as Jay and Carlos start to eat strawberries and some chocolate from a fountain. I looked and I saw Isa with her parents and she waved at me to come and meet her parents. I walked over to her and her parents "Mom, dad, this is Bjorn from Geatland." she said.

I got a look at her parents, her mother Merida wore a long dark blue dress with a bow and arrow holder that was on the back of her dress. Her father Hiccup wore a dragon suit that looked like a night fury. And beside them were two dragons that almost look like Dawn. "Bjorn, that is Toothless and Whisp, my parents' dragons," said Isa.

Toothless wore a fake tail fin and Whisp had a silver necklace around her neck. I spoke "It is nice to meet you all. Isa has told me a lot about you."

Her mother looked at me and said "Why are you dressed like you are going to war?"

I told her that I don't have any normal clothes from events like this. I've spent most of my time in my kingdom, preparing for war with my father. Then her father asked " Who is your father?"

I only spoke softly to answer the question. Then three identical men walk towards the four of us "Bjorn, these are my uncles. Hamish, Hubert and Harris." She said as I nodded and they nodded back.

Isa's family didn't seem that bad, I did meet her grandmothers Elinor and Valka. But then I heard a shout. I turned to see the Vk's with Ben and the Heroes kids arguing so me and Isa went to investigate it. It was Queen Leia, Audrey's grandmother. She saw Mal and ranted on about the curse that Sleeping Beauty was under. She missed everything with her daughter. Then I spoke " If you have an argument to be made, it should be with their parents not with their children."

Chad got in front of all of us.

Ben: "Don't do this Chad.

Chad: "They were raised by their parents, Ben. What do you think Villains teach their kids? Huh? Kindness? Fair play?"

Vanessa: "Leave them alone! They haven't done anything to you!"

Chad: "Oh really? Mal stole another girl's boyfriend. Jay enjoys hurting people. And Evie, she's nothing but a gold digger and a cheater."

Vanessa: "The only villain here is you!"

Chad: "Oh really? Is that so? You're the only villain kid here in Auradon, maybe you and your parents should go back to where you belong, in the Isle."

Vanessa: "You take that back you womanizer!"

Isa: "Vanessa, wait!"

Chad: "You too Isa. I thought you were one of us."

Isa: "I'm not choosing sides. These VK's aren't like their parents."

Chad: "You happen to be dating a villain kid. Haven't you forgotten what a villain did to your grandfather?"

Isa's face went pale. I saw this and I went up to Chad.

Bjorn: "You do not want this fight."

Chad: And you are just a barbarian with no title."

Isa: "Enough Chad! You can talk bad about the villains but no one talks bad about my friends, boyfriend, or my family!"

Chad: "Well then, why don't you show everyone what you really are?! A weakling! Just like your father!"
