Ash~

Its Monday. Always gloomy and fucking boring as hell. I eventually got ready on time and not late to Math. I also had to go to Saturday detention for being late on Friday, for my Math teacher. It was actually pretty relaxing. Just sit there, doing nothing execpt sleeping on the desk. I've been thinking about going to the local beach a few miles from the school. Yeah, they got everything here, a beach, bars, beach stores, tattoo parlors, clubs, etcetera. This university is pretty much the coastal school. I hum Latch by Disclosure as I head to sixth period. "...now I've got you in my space..." I silently sang the chorus. "I won't let go of you," I hear a voice sing in my ear. I turn around to find him. The tone of him singing, I should've known it was him. He sang it so beautifully and sexy in his tone. We were in the classroom alone because I walked in so early. I slightly flinch as I feel his soft fingers start to wrap around my waist. "Hey," I said, smirking at him. "Hi," Val said back, biting his lip.
"What are you doing?" I playfully chuckled.
Val smirked, narrowing his emerald green eyes. He started to inch closer to me. Our faces were so close. My heart races so fast. "Something..." his huskily voice mumbled. "Stop it..." I playfully whined. I start to feel his minty breath on my lips. Is he going to do what I think he's going to do? Our lips, centimeters away when Val quickly pulled away, knowing that the students started to walk in. He walked to his desk, winking at me. I smirked at him. As the period starts, Val asks for homework. As I pass my homework to him, he quietly slips me a note. It read, 'Meet at the beach. I want to talk about the dance tomorrow. -Val' I catch a glance at him, and I nod.

As the day went by, I went to the beach by myself. Sure, it was a long walk, but its always worth it to see the horizon in the distance, the waves making gentle sounds when they hit the coast, the cawing of seagulls, and the soft and warm sand. I wore my flip-flops so that my boots wouldn't get sand on them, and I also wore a tank-top and shorts. I search around for Val. Maybe he isn't here yet... I reached the ocean coast. I was too focused on looking for him that a person ran into me, trying to go back to the beach. He was on top of me. Our faces, just inches away. "Val..." I stammer. "Looks like your here, and here to stay..." he murmured. The way he said the last three words sent a shiver down my spine. It was so breathy. "I thought we were here to talk, not flirt!" I scolded him, and I pushed him away, allowing myself to stand up. He flicked off the small pieces of shells from his bare upper body. I didn't bother to wash myself off of the sand. "So...about the dance..." Val starts. Oh God, is this going to be a lecture now? "I was wondering if...if...you could dance with me tomorrow," he finishes. "R-Really?" I say in shock. Val nods, letting a weak smile plaster on his face. "Well, okay..."

Tomorrow was going to be one hell of a night, I knew it.
